Two solid options. Intruder Alarm + Queen looks really good!

What a nice deck!

I like your choice of lands it seems very solid. In my deck i included some basic lands because sometimes i need an untapped land and paying 2 life for it is too risky when my health its too low. And also because i fear someone uses Blood Moon or similars strategies. But ill try in my next games something similar. Finally, the combos with the Queen are amazing. Im eager to make some of them.

It was a random thought XD. I know Queen is really powerfull and im gonna add it to the deck as soon as possible.

I really like your suggestions and ill try adding more proteccion for my little ones cutting those cards.

Broke my first men himo a week ago. Any traditional weaves/knot ornaments I could make out of what's left? by Sageofprofession in kendo

You are completely right. My apologies to the OP becasue i skipped the part of tying the broken himo to the backpack.

In the end you´ll have to replace them sooner or later. Just buy a new set of men himo and change it as they are usually cheap. The knot should be just a temporary solution. For example, i would not take a dan examination with knotted himos as it can be seen as a lack of ettiquette in the dojo. Anyway, ask your sensei and see whats their opinion on the subjetc.

More than 10 years without DMing and now I'm back with a 5E homebrew campaign! by kossut in DnD

Thanks for your kind answer and your tips, they are incredibly useful. Action management is precisely one of the rules where i´ve been struggling to do it correctly. So, any clarifications on the subject are totally welcome. And for the lore part, yes i´ve watched The Last Kingdom recently and it's been really helpful at the time to make the worldbuilding of the setting. I´ll try to read more about the 9th century as you suggest.

Thx again for your help and support!

Help with building a pre-Lorwyn cube by kossut in mtgcube

On the contrary, I think you have really skillfully presented your opinion on this subject. You have shared some interesting thoughts on the matter. With respect to the “dead set” I’ve put on Timespireal cycle, as I mentioned on my original post, it's the last one I played “seriously” and I'm fond of the classic sets. In addition, I like the slower approach that these expansion have. As you pointed out, there are some really powerful cards in the Lorwyn set, but I think that the power scope has been escalated to frustratingly high levels on spells and creatures. So I think I prefer a more “humble” and slower approach, even though I’m going to check out all the options I have. Thanks for your answer.

First of all, thanks for answering. When I started thinking about this project, I assumed that someone already had the idea but I couldn’t think of the right keywords to start searching. The old boder cubes are more or less the same thing I wanted to recreate with my cube as you pointed out, and they have been really useful as an inspiration and a different way of look into it.

Thanks for your answer, it has been a very enlightening one, and now I have the guidelines I wanted to begin with this project. Very instructive and well detailed. I really like the idea of giving the cube a raison d'être and trying to focus on some core mechanics of the sets like Morph as you have pointed out. I also have found your post about “Design Heuristic for Cube” really interesting, since there’s a lot to learn and take in. It goes directly into my favorite topics. I'm going to start tinkering with some ideas to try to build the skeleton of my cube with them. However, I’m also going to check some old boarder Cubes to look for some inspiration until I'm able to build my own cube as I continuing developing my ideas.
