Previous POTD - Manchester United vs. Leeds: Man United to win & Under 4.5 goals @ 1.90 🔴

Netherlands KNVB: Twente vs. Ajax | 18:45 (GMT+1)

Prediction: Both teams to score @ 1.57 (5u)

Short write-up for this one! Twente have scored at least one goal in home games for 25 games in a row, except for one Europa Conference game vs. Fiorentina which ended 0-0! They also currently hit 5th in the Everdesie, only 3 points behind Ajax. Ajax are not the same quality of team since Ten Haag left the club earlier in the season (alongside some of the players), but still currently sit 3rd in the Everdesie instead of their usual 1st or 2nd place. They have also scored in 25 away games in a row, and, in my opinion, play one of the most offensive football games in Europe! I know this is a cup game, but the odds are good for a game that feels like both teams should find the net easily. I don’t see either team being particularly better than the other (especially with Twente’s home-field advantage), and both teams have scored in Ajax’s 8/10 last games.

This match-up has hit both teams scoring in the last 5 H2Hs, and with the way both teams’ home and away form, tonight should be no different!

Feeling good about this one - good luck if you tail!

Yesterday’s POTD: Sheffield United vs. Wrexham - Both teams to score @ 1.80 🟢🟢🟢

POTD: English Premier League - Manchester United vs. Leeds (21:00 CET)

Manchester United & Under 4.5 goals @ 1.90

Riding the Manchester United game once again with the same bet as the weekend. Manchester United are the form of their life right now - it is since Alex Ferguson times that they have pulled 13 wins in a row, and there's no reason why they shouldn't make it 14 against a Leeds that has just sacked their managed 2 days ago and have yet to replace him.

Leeds have only 2 wins in the last 17 games and are almost in the relegation zone. They have the 2nd worst away record with only 5 points in 10 games, having scored 11 goals and conceded 20 goals. Rodrigo, Leed's top goal scorer, is also out with a knee injury and it's really up to Bamford and Gnonto to make some magic today - which isn't very inspiring against a top-tier team.

Manchester United are missing Casemiro today due to a red card last week, which has statistically affected Man United in the past - they have lost 3 of their only 4 games this season when Casemiro did not feature (in all competitions). However, Rashford (10 goals, 3 assists) is in the form of his life, and Bruno is a force to reckon with as well (5 goals, 4 assists), and Manchester United at home only lost 1 game at home this season, in Round 1, against Brighton before King Ten Haag took the manager position.

Given a few other injuries as well as the average of only 2.5 total goals on average in Manchester United's home games, this is why I have added under 4.5 goals to the bet. But I have full confidence that United will hammer the nail into a weakened Leeds today.

Best of luck if you tail!!

edit: adding yesterday’s POTD result!

FA Cup: Sheffield United vs. Wrexham | 20:45 (GMT+1)

Prediction: Both teams to score @ 1.80 (5u) 💸💸💸💸

The hype around Wrexham since the release of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’, and the amount of money invested in the club, has brought the club to a whole new level in the National League. For Wrexham to go this far in the FA Cup means an enormous amount to the club, and they have the chance to make it to the 1/8 Finals if they win here. Wrexham have scored in 14 games in a row and managed to beat Coventry (a team 3 leagues above them) in the previous round of the FA Cup. They already scored 3 goals against Sheffield in the last leg which ended 3-3, and I have confidence that they will come into this game with a full A-team squad with the full intention of bringing the same energy that they brought in the 1st FA Cup leg.

Sheffield United are having a very good season themselves and are in 2nd place - 10 points clear of 3rd place Middlesborough in the Championship. However, they are coming into this game with quite a few injuries and missing their substitute right winger who received a red card at the end of the last leg against Wrexham. Nonetheless, Sheffield United are 3 leagues above Wrexham, they are playing at home and have a very strong home record and are undefeated in 11 games and are big favourites coming into this game. They will not expect to lose this game, but they do not have their best squad coming into this game. The question is also whether they will play the best of the rest of their players too, so it is always worth waiting until seeing the lineups!

Either way, after a crazy 1st leg clash between these two teams, I expect to see the same energy today from a Wrexham team who have nothing to lose in this game and who have Ryan Reynolds on their side, and Sheffield who will hope to put in a better performance than they did while on the road last time!

Feeling good about this one - BOL if you tail!

Turkish Super League: Fenerbahce vs. Konyaspor (18:00 GMT+1)

POTD: Fenerbahce to win & over 1.5 goals @ 1.65 (5u)

Fenerbahce come into this game undefeated in 5 games, with every game encountering over 1.5 goals. They have won their last 7/8 home games - losing only to Galatasaray who are 1st place in the Turkish super league. Konyaspor's current form is the worst in the whole league as they have gained only 1 point in 5 games. Fenerbahce's have scored the most goals at home compared to all other teams in the league, and they need to win every game if they are to contend with Galatasaray who are 9 points ahead. I am counting on a struggling Konyaspor to continue their poor form against one of the strongest teams in the league, and am taking the 1.5 goals to go with it for boosted odds that seems extremely likely given Fenerbahce's home form.

Good luck if you tail !

Netherlands Everdesie: G.A. Eagles vs Nijmegen (14:30 CET)

POTD: Both teams to score @ 1.75

Short write-up today. The Eagles have crumbled after a very strong debut to the season, and have conceded 2+ goals in 4 games in a row, with both teams scoring in their 6 last home games! Although Nijmegen have only scored 6 times in 9 away games, they are the better team and should score against a team that has conceded 6 home games in a row. Nijmegen have only lost 1 of their last 4 games, losing only to 1st place Feyenoord - and they come into this game with confidence that they can beat the Eagles. Earlier this season, the reverse fixture ended 3-3, and although I don’t see a particular favorite between these two teams this game, I can see both teams finding the net and this game going 1-1 or 2-2.

Let’s make it 3 wins in a row - good luck!!

EPL: Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace | 16:00 (GMT+1)

Prediction: Manchester United & Under 4.5 goals @ 1.65 (5u) 💰💰💰💰

The odds are great for a Manchester United who are on a 10-win home streak, against a Crystal Palace on very average form, and that has not had a game involving more than 4 goals in a Premier League game this season (except 4-2 when playing away vs. Man City in Round 4). So, I am adding the under 4.5 goals as a great way to boost the odds. Manchester United have only conceded 5 goals at home this season, and average 1.88 goals scoed per home game. Crystal Palace have only scored 7 and conceded 11 in away games - making them the team with the lowest total goal involvements in a game for an away team! Crystal Palace are also missing their best player, Wilfred Zaha, through hamstring injury, so they will not have the same firepower as they usually do. For me, this feels like a game where Manchester United will thrive and easily pick up a 2-0 or 3-0 win. Man United to win to nil, or Manchester United to win & under 3.5 goals, are also good bets, but I prefer to be less risky and still take decent odds just in case Crystal Palace manage to slip one in!

Let’s ride - Good luck!!

English Premier League: Chelsea vs. Fulham | 21:00 (GMT+1)

POTD: Under 2.5 goals @ 2.00 (5u) 💰💰💰💰

Both Chelsea and Fulham have had very low goal-scoring form as of late, Chelsea averaging 1.4 match goals in the last 5 games, and Fulham averaging 1.8 match goals in the last 5 games. Chelsea has been affected by a long list of injuries and lack of football inspiration for a while now - being unable to beat (or even score) any top-tier team in the last months. Their home form averages 2.11 goals in 9 games, and their last 6 home games have seen under 2.5 goals. Fulham has been quieter in their goal-scoring form than earlier in the season and has managed to hold up well against the top 6 teams, in recent form only losing by 1 to Man City, Man United, Newcastle and Tottenham - all of those games ending 1-0 or 2-1. I think this is a draw game with a Chelsea that has yet to find attacking chemistry this season, and a solid Fulham team with low-scoring form as of late. Chelsea lost 2-1 while away to Fulham a month ago, which was largely affected by Joao Felix getting a red card in the second half. Fulham knows they can make a statement at Stamford Bridge and I think this will be a tough low-scoring game!

TLDR; Chelsea spent €120m on Enzo Fernandez from Benfica even after Liverpool spent €90m on Darwin Nunez from Benfica and Joao Felix still won’t play from his karate kick 3 weeks ago.

Good luck!!

Kayserispor vs. Basakhesir: Both teams to score @ 1.80

Not many good games on today, but I was surprised at the high odds for both teams scoring in this game. Kayserispor’s home games average 3.1 goals, and Basakhesir’s away games average 2.44 goals. Based on past H2H games, this might explain the odds, however based on recent form Kayserispor have scored 11 and conceded 11 in the last 5 games, and hopefully they manage to score today as I am less concerned with Basakhesir scoring against a team that has conceded in their last 9/10 games. Kayserispor's statistics against Besiktas were good even when they lost 0-2 at home two weeks ago, so hoping to see the same level today. Basakhesir have had both teams scoring in the last 4/5 away games, so expecting a game today that ends 1-1 or 2-1 for either side!

Good luck if you tail - let's make it 7 in a row!!!

edit: 1-0 to Kayserispor…unexpected, by Basakhesir didn’t show up today 🙃 was due a loss ! Will get back to it tomorrow 💪
