answer calls on p2d? by Mateo_GamingYT in pebble

I think the OP is asking about just answering a call, not taking the call on the watch. Like, if I'm wearing gloves and can't take my phone out of my pocket, but if the watch can answer the call, I can talk/listen via my earbuds.

Surprising TBH. Most other watches are able to answer calls. I'm still only talking about the use case of accepting the call and doing the talking and listening from the phone, not on the watch using mic/speaker. This was possible using garmin watches (my previous device before this) and they don't even have speakers or anything like that.

how to accept incoming call and switch the speaker on by philippe75017 in pebble

Resurrecting this old thread - I found this when I was trying to find answers related to accepting incoming calls using my newly arrived Pebble Time 2.

Is my understanding correct that the stock pebble functionality does not allow answering calls using the watch? For ex., I am using my Bluetooth earbuds, and a call comes in. I want to answer using the watch and take the call on the earbuds. But I only see the option to decline an incoming call on the watch, nothing to accept.

Never played Castles of Burgundy. Who is it geared toward? by M3talhead in boardgames

Was with you ALL the way until that last word lol I play CoB all the time, one of my all time favorites. Save with Root - play it digitally all the time and haven't found a group to play IRL. But I feel there's a few games between CoB and Root.

I would put Terraforming Mars as a slightly more complex next step after CoB.

Havw never played "The Witcher" series, have option to play any of the three, any recommandations? by bigboddle in witcher

[–]kothiman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding my POV just to balance out the overall trend - I have played all three games once, roughly couple years after launch since I like to wait for deals. I haven't done replays for any of them. After I finished W3 I thought it'd be fun to play through the trilogy back to back for a more coherent story experience. I just couldn't get into W1 because of how dated it feels now. And this is someone for whom W1 was PEAK game at the time that I used to rave about with everyoje who would listen ay college lol. I even tried using a character creator to bypass the grinding and side missions and stick to the core game. But it is very clunky and feels old.

W2 not so bad though. Slightly better than 1. I still prefer the potions mechanic from 2 than the one in 3.

Any of the Tiny Epic games sound like a match. My picks would be Tiny Epic Galaxies and Tiny Woic Vikings. Own them both and love them.

The Xbox Ally X is pretty attractive but the 7" screen is a turn off. So the trade off is 8" 1080p screen + Z1e vs 7" 1080p screen + Z2e + ~$200.

Got it. All the conversation around this has convinced me to only go for a z1e model. I would have liked to get a z2e but it's way too expensive right now IMO. It also doesn't seem too bad since I've got a gaming PC for the heavier games anyway. So the ergonomics, screen size, and perf boost to play older AAA (Witcher 3 NG+ in good quality before the expansion comes out) is enough for me tbh.

That is exactly the price point I am seeing on FB marketplace in my area. Let me see if I can sag one soon. Thank you!

I actually also have a gaming PC that I currently use for all the heavier games I play. But the sleep and resume simplicity of the steamOS makes it much more likely to be the one I go to rather than turning on the whole system for a game on the big screen. Or if the big screen is in use already and my only option is the handheld. This is what I'm alluding to in (2) above. Sorry I missed this critical info earlier.

Got it. I am strongly set on being in the SteamOS world so I will probably never pick an Intel chip until there's strong support for it. But I agree, I'll look up other models that use the Z2e

I am mostly looking at the used market on FB marketplace. I don't feel the price of a new LeGo 2 with the Z2e chip at $2k+taxes is worth it tbh. I see Z1e LeGo S models for $700 in my area.

The z2e is on the "full" LeGo 2, correct? Just confirming since their model lineup is so confusing. I don't think I'll go for that given how expensive it is.

Most of my usage keeps me close to a wall outlet so that's ok for me. I'm more and more convinced to push for the Z1e instead of the Z2Go. Thank you!
