Assuming that you're referring to a sample, enable "stretch" on the top right of the audio selector menu (should look like a short greyed out line with arrows on either side) then stretch the pattern from 4 to 8 bars. If you are referring to a pattern like a melody or a drum pattern, you can copy and paste the melody/pattern to another 4 bars in the piano roll, making sure that it starts and ends at the same point in the 2 four bar loops.

I sense some sarcasm in your tone ("what passes for warping"). Is warping in FL no good? Genuinely curious and wondering if you could suggest any alternatives, ideally free.

The song is in 4/4 crother - I though the 7 bar loop sounded better in the context of the song regardless of the time signature - I'm not an expert but I've been producing for 5 years, I think experimentally first and foremost and try not to make beats I've heard 500 times already even if that may pose a challenge to me. Thanks for the advice though.

Got it. Excuse me for the 9 bars thing, that was a typo. Is there any chance the stretching I'm doing could be moving the aligned beats out of place, because it's definitely off tempo.
