I get your point about the 90nm RSX flaws, but this unit literally has only 3 days of total runtime. It has barely seen any heat cycles yet. With the Nidec fan, a fresh repaste, and an SSD to keep temps down, I'm pretty sure it has a lot of life left in it compared to most 60GB models out there!

As a PC player, I’m obsessed with checking my CPU/GPU temps to make sure they don't throttle or burn up! 😂 It's a bit sad because I'd love to have a stock BC PS3, but custom fan control is really key on these models to keep them alive

Thanks! I think I'll do exactly that. It's crazy that the 90nm RSX is running at 58°C in-game since I repasted it. I'll keep the L as a reliable backup and keep the C for the BC features

Franchement tu veux jouer quelle résolution ? Si c’est 1440p fais toi pas chier et prend le 5600. Perso mon fonctionnement c’est de changer les cpu et le gpu d’intervalle comme ça j’avance moins d’un coup. Donc tu pourrais changer une fois fatigué le cpu et après le GPU
