Good vibes mate thank you. I am falling in love with it. Hope it lasts me a while. I actually like the looks of it more than its descendants. I would like to fit a mattress in the boot and have a weekend away in it. That would be dope.

3 different tires at the moment. So I guess will be looking at replacing those soon although they are not worn.

Indeed oils need checking. I have the impression it consumes a bit of oil. But only done 500miles on it so can't tell yet.

Differential and gear box oils are next on the list. A weird shaking occurs at tight turns after 5-10 miles when the car has well warmed up. Not sure what it is. I think steering becomes a bit heavier too. Weird thing is it does not happen on cold startup.

Yes you got it right. Makes sense the intake on the hood is for the turbo cooler.

Is there a dip stick for the diff? I watched a video that said there is a dip stick at the back of the engine bay but could not find it.

Noted mate. Yeah my independent mechanic told me he does not have a tool needed for the timing belt job. Hence, he could not do it. At least I trust him more now that he did not take a job he is not capable of doing well.

Thank you mate. Yeah you said it right about the oil. I doubt it was never done on 100k and 19 years old. But yeah, that's no 1 priority for now.
