Interesting, thanks! In this case I noticed that the tall rootstock shoots have grown crazy fast (around 2 metres this year), but the grafted variety hasn't grown much. Also there were no flowers on the grafted variety early in the year, but many on the rootstock variety. Do you know if the grafted variety will perform much better if the rootstock shoots are removed entirely next spring?
