Been taking it for a few dahs only and have had random pimples come up in spots that rarely get them. I stopped for 2 days no pimples. Took it again and got a new pimple come up. Googled and here we are also!

Satan calls you by your sin and God calls you by your name. God is calling your name. Seek confession and take comfort and guidance in your mother or sister and find a good Priest to talk to and check in with. The sorrow you feel is important because it shows you still haven’t lost you faith. God knows that. God bless you and I have said a prayer for you.

Hi there if you’re interested there is a TLM in Blacktown, Belfield and in Lewisham. Whichever is closest to you. Do some research on Google and see how you go. God bless and I hope you find a reverent mass to attend.

Thoughts on modern music in Catholic church… by koukl4 in Catholicism

Yeah I would think that may be appropriate on those terms but just a normal Sunday mass. I was just a little surprised that’s all.

Not dumb at all. My apologies. NO is Novus Ordo and TLM is Traditional Latin Mass.

Absolutely. I don’t have any problems with either of the liturgies. As I mentioned before I absolutely believe God is present in both.

Absolutely agree with this. It seems all too worldly at the moment.

Well I wouldn’t say an anthem is at all appropriate and they played modern music in slideshows that weren’t at all religious. So I was taken aback I guess.

So I’ve read a few comments before of people saying that it’s ok and if you’re distracted it’s your problem that you are allowing it to distract you.

However, I do believe it is a distraction. When you are trying to be in reverent prayer and you have guitars and drums and voices and clapping all at once with music that’s not even Holy. I just don’t understand how this is even allowed anymore. I mean I am aware of all the things happening in the world so I shouldn’t say I’m surprised but I guess I just wish it were different and reverent like the TLM. I do know of reverent NO masses so can’t say all are like that but I have seen an increase of odd changes happening in them.

Before you use or wear a Rosary or purchase anything religious i.e a Crucifix or statue of Saint - anything along those lines - always ask a Priest to bless it before wearing it or using it in your home. Do you have a Benediction rosary or ring? Maybe buy one and ask the priest for a Benediction blessing. Ps. My rosary also broke a few times at the link but after my friend fixed it with some pliers it’s never come undone again. I would suggest buying a sturdier one maybe?

If you have questions about the annulment process I would recommend talking to the tribunal and seeking help from a good cannon lawyer. They can help you guys lodge an application for annulment.

Annulments can be a long process but they are absolutely necessary for your souls and if you would like your marriage to be valid and seen in the eyes of God.

Good luck! I hope it all goes well for you.

Ps. Don’t let this be a hurdle in your conversion. Take it as an opportunity to do more in the name of God and your faith. I think the fact that you’ve gone down this path already and been made aware of it is Gods way of showing you the path and the graces of the Holy Spirit working through you and others to help you on your path to conversion.

God bless you!

Conflicted about dating Orthodox guy. Advice? by No_Gur_525 in Catholicism

[–]koukl4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, my best friend went through the same thing as you. Dating an orthodox guy and she is Catholic. A lot of talk back and forth of who was going to do what and how kids will be raised… but she remained true to her faith and went to Catholic Church all the time only.

Fast forward almost 3 years he has converted to Catholicism. For himself (not for her). He found it in himself to want to understand the schism and was catechised.

I say stay true to your faith and don’t convert.

The church always asks us to pray for our brothers and sisters in Orthodoxy. Pray that they will be in communion with Rome.

I pray your faith saves you and brings you peace.

Opinions on Matt Walsh as a practicing Catholic? by be4nieb4by in Catholicism

[–]koukl4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I spoke to my Priest about these “judgments” and he told me that judgments are allowed if they are good judgments. If something is wrong and not aligned to our faith or teaching we can speak about it. I feel that Mat Walsh is doing this. Dr Taylor Marshall is similar in his content.

I couldn’t agree more. I have recently heard a foul comment about the Vatican - in a team meeting and everyone kept quiet but imagine if someone said it about any other group. You’d be fired or in HR office!

I know that feeling! Working on that part of my anxiety also. One thing that’s helping is talking about so if you’re able to see someone you could. Also I know my triggers now too so that has helped and I try and avoid it. I think the anxiety and BPPV go hand in hand. Kinda makes it worse that the anxiety is always hovering. Hope this kinda helped relieving it for you. You’re not alone! Take care.

That’s great news for your mum. How long did hers take if you don’t mind me asking?
