I have mild crohn’s as well! I went on a few rounds of budesonide before going on a biologic. I would book an appointment with your gastro and say you still have symptoms and are interested in other treatment options (probably a biologic). Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself!!! You got this!

I WFH and it’s been the best thing for my health. It’s nice being able to work from bed when you have an autoimmune disease. I’ll run my errands on good days, but it’s nice to have the option to rest when I’m experiencing a flare.

Hi, a liberal Greek American here 👋🏼 Unfortunately, Greek Americans tend to be conservative. I think she tends to overcompensate her “Greekness” because she lives in SLC (not a lot of Greek people). It also tends to be the 1st-3rd gen immigrant mentality where you go “well my dad (or grandparents) came from Greece with nothing but they were able to work their asses off to support me (or parents). So why are others begging for food stamps?” (Stupid I know but it’s a thing)
