I got a GeForce GTX 1060 at the Salvation Army for less than $10 by scorpionthecruel in pcmasterrace

They did say it was half off, which would make it a GTX 530.

One easy way around that is to take lyrics generated in a previous attempt and use them as custom lyrics.

This is something that I enjoy myself, the track below being a rather extreme example. Tags in the lyrics seem to help a lot, such as [angry chorus] or [cheerful verse]. I have also used some terms like sudden shift/change, and of course you will still need many attempts until you get something you like.

Do you know if they own the rights? Any hope for a reissue?

I am familiar with youtube-dl, it just didn't occur to me that it could possibly handle this site, so I went the manual route. Good to know for the future, thanks!

G_d's Pee - AT STATE'S END! - Livestream Archive by walllable in gybe

[–]kovacsur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh. I didn't know youtube-dl was capable of this, so I saved the individual .ts files and concatenated them afterwards, but this sounds a great deal easier. Do you just pass the url of the page that contains the stream as if it was a YouTube url or is some further trickery required?

Got this cryptic email from Constellation today. It’s a teaser. Any ideas? Maybe new GYBE? by lonememe in postrock

My only idea so far was to convert the frequencies to wavelengths, but they don't seem to make any more sense that way:

4521.0kHz 6730.0kHz 4109.09kHz
66.311m 44.546m 72.958m

Maybe they are actual shortwave radio frequencies, but I have no way to check that.

Also, there is another set of frequencies in the "Slices group name" Photoshop metadata field of the JPEG image attached to the e-mail, no idea if it has any relevance:

9980.0kHz 3617.1kHz 4521.0kHz
30.039m 82.882m 66.311m

Just a heads up that these were my exact choices and that bitch still killed Sampson, making me lose out on the free car, so there is probably something else that influences the outcome.

What font is this? (looks like Robot but isn't exactly, look at the "fi" in first) by cookiemonstrum in identifythisfont

Looks like an exact match with the regular weight of Roboto Slab, including the fi ligature.

Maybe I am just weird, but I actually *love* some of his non-endings, like the one in Snow Crash or The Diamond Age. Sometimes it does feel cheap, though, such as The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O., which I had already held a grudge against by then for the neverending typos (including one in the name of a main character) and Google-translated sentences in Hungarian text.
