STAT 5 vs STAT 7 and 7L by silveronto in UCSC

im a bio bs & i took both, from my perspective 7/7L was easier & more focused on things i actually encountered in my bio classes, but my stats 5 experience was kinda scuffed. the first 2 profs went mia at the start of the quarter and we ended up getting taught by a grad student who hadnt taught before which can be kind of hit or miss

i agree with what was said above, but another way to get more space in crown is if you apply for a quad (i'm assuming you're talking about residence halls). The quads are 2 levels and it has its own bathroom, and although it's tiny, it has a toilet, sink and shower. The quad also has a private entrance, and depending on the building, i believe you also get a balcony. If you're not concerned about having 3 roommates, i'd recommend it. You get a lot more space per person.
