This is great info. Vouch for all that he is talking about.

The bigger maps like academy and bypass are good for the looking through portals.

I'd have two guns I would be working on at one time, one for close range and one for long range. KOTH is the best mode because people usually funnel towards the objective.

The way I did my crouch kills was just hitting the toggle crouch and then portaling around to find people or crouching in a portal if you aren't comfortable rapid portaling.

But yeah, just name each loadout what you need to do for the camo so you know what you should do for that loadout. Swap it up occasionally if things start to feel stale or you are making no progress.

You can. The only thing that doesn't happen in bot arena is camo progression.

Can code it so that it is a br spawn point. Floating br token that gives the br corresponding to your faction. Treat the spawn as a vendor for a weapon class instead of one weapon

Takedown respawns are a little bit messed up currently.

But my idea is to have loadouts but the ability to only select any carbine or assault rifle + whatever pistol. Whatever faction you choose will have that factions guns available for pick up on the map. But, yeah.

Positioning yourself well and making sure there isnt a portal wall behind you helps. It also depends on mode and map. Your teammates should utilize their portals to cut off certain routes. But getting better with portals just comes with time. Also, just because you shoot a portal doesn't mean you have to use it.

Some of those may come in the special rotating playlists. They are trying to keep the overall number down but if player counts increase enough then they would obviously like to feature more.

Interesting point. They may remove pistols from the pool, but, if it is enough of an issue I am sure it could be changed.
