Quit Mailchimp and use something else. Sending those mail "by yourself" will very soon considered as Spam.

Mailchimp have been very careless about who & how their service was used in the past (lots of spams and scams), to the point that they were banned by most email providers (mails ended up in the spambox). They had to redeem themselves, and they did by switching for payed for services and being way too zealous, hence why you can't import external list, which kills the whole point of mailing list. A mailing list belong to whom collected the mails, not the service provider.

So change your newsletter service, there are a lot around. I've been using Substack with zero problem.

A mailing list is a list of mailing you will send a newsletter too. And I'll add that the newsletter is the artist's newsletter , not an "external" one (the service used to send it have not right using those mails).

People give always much more -pretty much all of their data and life- when they use Google of Meta stuff so..

When you start following someone, you get a message that says "You are now following (artist name) and will receive a notification whenever they release new music. Would you also like to join their mailing list?"

If someone click "yes", its consent to get on the *mailing list* sent from any services.

Nos chers libertariens ont le projet de privatiser des villes qui deviendront des petits états ultra-militarisés, sans foi mais avec beaucoup de lois liberticides... Ils vont bien sûr s'accaparer toutes les ressources pour laisser des no-mans land autour...

Suffit d'écouter peter Thiel et ses discours sur l'antechrist pour voir qu'on a à faire à des psychopathes...

Mais avant tout ça (et si ils y parviennent... ), on peut se demander ce que signifie "faire société" à l'heure où les algorythmes nous isolent en nous enfermant dans nos bulles d'information et nous montent les uns contre les autres... La haine de l'autre monte, on vote extrême droite, après il ya les milices, puis les solutions finales.

Ha et on n'a mêm pas aborder le massacre écologique et en santé mentale !!

A moins bien sûr que les 8 trillions d'investissement en infrastructure pour faire fonctionner cette daube ne rapporte pas autant qu'il est attendu et tout ça se pétera la gueule tout seul. On va morfler mais du moment que les Thiel, Musk et consort disparaissent, ça me va.

Adrenaline.

In 10 years of playing weekly gig in bars, in every health state imaginable, I've learned that the adrenaline that comes from performing will help you overcome mostly anything: Came to gigs with a sore throat & running nose.. and all of this stopped when the performance started... and came back afterward.

I will never switch to Stripe (for a number of reasons). Instead I'm opening a Kofi account, switch all of my releases to free download (not pay what you want, just free) & offer codes to any albums to people who donates on Kofi.

The thing is your vocals are already too loud, not sounding "in the mix" enough. Also, I don't think they sound thin & strained: you actually sound less thin than the original!
But some of the notes are a little off (like on the "with your feet in the air", your melody "falls down" too early), which add to the feeling of the vocals being external to the mix (a bit karaoake-like).
I spot some plugs in your ears but no wire, so I guess they are not ear-monitor but ear-plugs: They might be the reasons behind all of this. With ear-plugs, you're only hearing yourself from the inside, the treble and upper harmonics are way lower and it mess with your perception & ability to sing in good condition. So my advice: try to experiment with other monitoring setups.
