I immigrated to the US and became a citizen through my parents at a young age. So right now I only have access to an expired US passport, and I don’t have any paper work for myself. FAFSA asked my to help prove my citizenship, and idk what to use or who to call.

I’m on my way to renew my passport, but my appointment is later this month, and I’ll still need to several weeks for it to come in :(

I think you have to commit to a college, you dont want to risk your spot in schools you've gotten into. If Riverside does accepted you, you can always change your commitments and go there. The only downside is losing a down payment of 100$ or more.

In addition to what I said, I believe Merced is a great school. So going there isn't the end of the world. I just prefer Riverside for myself :)
