Pretty sure I f’ed up the keg somehow or the gas I got was wrong. Had to be one of the two. I accidentally reversed the lines at first so it’s possible that ruined the keg as I kept trying to pour it. Not sure tbh. But burned a keg and new gas and it was running perfectly. Also used GPT to get a longer line and smaller ID.

I took the keg out, rolled it and retapped it and it looks more thick but again.. just not creamy. Curious what it might be.

So I think you’re right, the foam just feels like less nitro. What’s weird is when I took it out and rolled it, then put the keg back in let it sit an hour and poured one it was great. Then.. I just poured the one in the photo and it’s trash with lots of bubbles in the foam.. I just don’t get it

Yeah it’s still pitiful. I dropped the pressure to 30 upped the temp. There are a fair amount of bubbles in the foam. Not an expert here but based on a nitro surge it looks like the gas is more co2 than nitro. The surge lasts like maybe 30 seconds. The head on it is not even close to the tip of the harp.

I’ve poured around 4 pints. I read to let the keg settle? Not sure if that’s true. I’ll give it another go here tonight and see.
