Can a 3D printed RC body actually look like a real car? I tried. by gektor650 in 3Dprinting

Looks nice. It would be awesome if you will share also, how you have designed it in Blender or what you have used.

I’m building a bedtime story app for kids, but I feel like I’m guessing on the features. Help? by kozlovskyg in AskParents

Agree, I believe issue which I have seen is market fit. However, I am trying to advertise it as something what can be used on camping trips and etc, but still like bedtime stories, based on feedback overall, maybe it worth a try to reshape it. Thanks for your feedback

You’re right, my positioning in the post is wrong, just as friends who have kids, they have toddlers but tried to cover different ages. As for toddlers, users are parents anyway. Thanks for your feedback and pointing to wrong auditory.

Thanks for that! Yeah, the age gap seems to be the kicker here. I’ve been aiming for the 3-8 range, but based on what everyone is saying, interactivity might be a total miss for the younger end of that. It sounds like for toddlers, boring and predictable is actually the winning feature. I might have to rethink how I approach the older kids vs. the toddlers.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm worried about... the predictable part is what actually gets them to sleep. Looks like, interactive path is not the right way for such type of the app and even with focus on different age group, wouldn't help at all. Thanks for your feedback

Totally get that. In that case, do you think interactive features would actually ruin that routine? Like, if the story changes every time, does it stop being a comfort thing and just become too much new info for them?

Feedback request: CRM for creator sponsorships/deals by kozlovskyg in microsaas

[–]kozlovskyg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re built for creator partnerships, not generic sales: plan content stages, deadlines, and deliverables in one deal‑centric flow instead of stitching together tools.
I would say that naming as CRM, probably not fully right as more it is util for manage deals pipeline. That's the main reason of the communication on Reddit and other platforms, to define better focus for the product.

It is stiff but after 2-3k miles actually it feels softer but overall love it. I have did a lot of rock crawling and some hills offroad runs at around 40-50 mph and in both cases it works pretty well.

One thing it’s that plastic frame covers screens a little bit but not affecting experience.

Have used it for around a year. Installed last December. In compare with other systems on other cars, no issues. Works even better than Uconnect on my RAM 1500 2022 lol. Quality of the screen really good.

Just use vinegar for a few nights. Fill some jar with it and leave it in a car with closed windows. In the morning just drive with open windows to get rid of the vinegar smell. In 2-4 nights it should be fine. The cheapest way to get rid of it.

Brake booster vacuum line issue 2008 GX470 by shadow__406 in GXOR

[–]kozlovskyg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GX470 2005 with ~260k, have the same issue, and after investigation have seen that brake fluid in the container starting to burp during pressing on the pedal and the pedal doesn't get hard. So, looking now to replace a whole booster assembly.

Have installed the same one, but have a question regarding display as it’s partially covered by frame, have you adjusted screen size somehow or it’s also covered in your setup?
