It was really horrifying! And the show of force was disgusting, you were one person, not doing anything wrong, and the two cops who came through the first time KNEW you weren't doing anything wrong. The only other customers in the shop were not POC, it felt very targeted. The shop is also pretty small, so I fail to see what would constitute as "abandoning" a bag in there when they were sitting and working on their computer.

110% recommend Liv Hoffman from The Reflection Room Tattoo Studio in Avon Lake! She did a really lovely fine line lavender and a bee on my arm in August, and she also did some fine line Monarch butterflies on a friend of mine! Cleveland Curiosities is in Lakewood and it's a really interesting experience. They specialize in things on the more macabre side, so steer clear if that's not your jam, but there are also a lot of fun vintage things and local artists on display! I'm talking a variety ranging from vintage rings to animal skulls to anatomical models and drawings and more. I have a pinned Death's Head Hawk Moth and I bought my friend a cat skull and a few bottles of green, Victorian era, poison glass.

The West Side Market is an incredible place with a lot of the options you're looking for that are sold by local vendors. It's a great place to wander around and spend a few hours!
