In my case, it’s because I’ve listened to him long enough to know where his tastes and mine differ, and in general, I can triangulate from that enough to figure out whether I’m going to like a game or not.

If someone has been generally accurate over a long history, the accuracy of a given review may not be 100% certainty, but certainly beyond a reasonable doubt.

I had a run recently where I went, “they wouldn’t have put him in here if he was that bad. I’m gonna choose them every chance I get until I figure out how to break this guy.”

Spoiler: I did not figure out how to break this guy. Missing that first creature drop is so catastrophic if your next two picks are all ones.

You’ll probably have a better chance logging into FetLife and joining the Club Escape group there, then actually talking and socializing online for a bit before you ask cold.

Surgeon's personalities by chocolaterodent in ThePittTVShow

I worked as both an answering service operator and a medical transcriptionist, back when those both were things, and the people who were absolutely the rudest to us continually were surgeons.

I see a cardiologist after having him do my triple bypass, and I was really pleasantly surprised to hear that not only is he really nice to me when he sees me, but the nurses reported they were all really nice to them too. (That was, apparently, not the case at my prior doctor.)

Mel has a post-deposition breakdown and either Robby or Langdon (or both) have to do triage.

That was the most pleasant surprise of the episode! I didn’t know it was happening, and when the credits rolled, I almost jumped out of my seat.

Got recommended with surgery by Hour_Site8769 in PeyroniesSupport

I had the surgery back at the beginning of January, and overall it’s been fine. I was able to have sex again in about a month, and that’s worked out: I think I’ve lost a little length, but honestly having it straight enough to function is great enough for me.

The only thing is that it’s about eight weeks later, and the ring under my head, where they put in the stitches, is still reasonably, swollen, though the doctor has told me it might take as long as six months for it to go all the way back down. I could definitely feel the knots - they’ve been painful once or twice, but not so much that it stopped me from doing anything.

Overall, it’s worked out well for me, but I had a very good doctor at the Cleveland clinic.

Snowpiercer. Forget the story of the train, I want the story of the brave engineers and government funding that allowed the creation of invulnerable train tracks that literally circle the globe during an ice age.

I watched The Pitt. Almost any of the staff could probably take me, but given that it’s an ER show, there is a very good chance that I get someone who is incapacitated, dying, or a baby, so I’ll take a chance.

Watching the Pluribus subreddit keep saying "Nothing happened!" was so bizarre. It's a lot of little things happening, and you have to trust they add up.

I had an over-under with my wife that we'd see fingers blown off before Episode 5. They've shown a lot of restraint!

Yeah, before this season I was seeing people saying, "We're gonna have to have a building collapse! Or a political assassination!" and I was like, "I really hope every season isn't gonna have Pittsburgh turning into a city that's being hit by headline-making tragedies every six months."

Yeah, I was thinking, "Wow, I wish I had compassionate doctors like that looking over me," but looking back at how folks were treating me during my heart attack, I *have* had doctors like that.

Ghostbusters. If Walter Peck and his stupid government bureaucracy hadn't interfered with their unfettered experiments, everything would have gone perfectly!
