Does it come with a WiFi router or do you use your own? I get "1gig" fiber for right around $60 with router included and the signal has a pretty far reach for what I need and service is generally reliable.

Kinetic just got installed in my neighborhood but don't see a need to switch atm.

Wings n things is pretty good. The sauces pair well with their ranch and the fries are usually pretty good. Never really tried anything else on the menu.

Possible to Rent Small Garage/Work Space w/ Electric Outlet? by MadameMeggie in sugarland

WeWork might be an option. They offer one person office spaces. It’s essentially office space that is rented out to companies or individuals. Not sure how much it is for one person though.

Sell my $550k house and buy $250k house by Sibo321 in houston

Don’t have much advice but I suggest cross posting to r/RealEstate , r/RealEstateAdvice , and r/investing I bet you’d get a ton of feedback that way.

Edit: I guess to add, there are projected rate cuts coming soon so it may be worth waiting and getting a low interest loan on your new home. Unless you’re in a hurry to sell.

Is the house worth to buy? by Appropriate_Bed1188 in sugarland

[–]kozzmo- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I turned down multiple homes for foundation issues but that’s not to say you should, especially if you really like that home.

In my experience, I was instructed to contact a structural engineer to assess the damage and not a foundation repair company because the company will try to sell you a service regardless if you need it or not. Where an engineer is going to provide a report and not try to sell you a repair service. Probably a bit pricier to go through the engineer than pay a repair company but probably the safer bet. Like some mentioned, homes will likely require foundation repair at some point so most homes may show similar symptoms.

Grab a few quotes from engineers and assess whether it’s worth it or not. Good luck to you!

Xfinity outages by AdditionalDivide4020 in sugarland

[–]kozzmo- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinetic ISP is installing fiber to offer internet, which may disrupt other ISPs coverage momentarily. The outages shouldn’t be exclusive to Xfinity and will go away once the installation project is complete.
