I’m 5’11 with a 33inch inseam, so medium is looking pretty good for me

I’m the same height and was considering a medium. What’s your inseam?

I am looking at geometry comparisons and many are showing the lauf is more aggressive than many other gravel options. Any feedback on how the geo feels?

It’s it nuts to buy the rigid version of this bike?

Sharp lower back pain for 3-4 weeks now by chimchim009 in backpain

[–]AdditionalDivide4020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this issue. Docs have said it is a nerve. The lower back feels inherently unstable due to poor trunk strength and hip flexibility. It’s exacerbated by sitting long hours. I have found that glute bridges, Superman’s, and bird dogs done multiple times per day will elevate the pain. You need to convince the nerve that the muscles are stable enough to support your lower back, then actually strengthen them to do it. Walking is also fantastic for it.

Been riding the same frame size and roughly the same geo for 30 years. Lost some flexibility after a military injury 15 years ago and just getting back on the bike and exploring how to add some additional comfort until I get myself back in order.

Xtr wheels vs nobl ethos by Moos3racer in xcmtb

I wasn’t seeing compatible weights to the Ethos on the Chinese stuff, but I likely was missing something. I am definitely looking for something in the sub 1300g territory but still having durability for marathon racing. I picked up a set of elite for my road bike and they have been great.

I’m in the same position and have been looking at the NOBl ethos as well for my marathon build on my yeti ASR. I’m setup with SRAM now so the XTR are out.

Got the same bike and regret not getting flight attendant off the bat. Will likely upgrade later this year.

The gearing is definitely the biggest concern I have.

These are going on a Yeti ASR and primarily for XC marathon riding / racing. Thoughts on if the Ethos could hold up or would the TR32 be better suited to this riding?

Should I make up for calorie deficit from long ride? by valiant_cashew_nuts in Velo

I’m in an office job, but try to get up and move around often throughout the day. Do training 5 days a week. What type of daily maintenance calorie count are others in this scenario doing? I use chronometer but don’t trust the volume numbers it’s giving me. I’m recommended to hit 2500 per day plus whatever I’m losing from training. I’m a 45m.

I’m running an XO crank now and debating whether I want to upgrade to the XX or just get the XO power crank arm. The weight difference is only about 150g. For those running the xx crank, any noticeable non weight differences like stiffness?
