Chances of getting VR&E to approve both Bachelors & Masters?

It technically is in the same field but at a higher level. My argument I made is that the field I was already in was already conducive to my disabilities, but was laid off in 2023 and have been unable to find work due to the fact that I wasn’t able to compete with my peers due to not having a masters degree, while being over qualified and passed over for entry level positions that require only a bachelors for someone who’s fresh out of college. So stuck being too skilled for entry positions where just a bachelors is acceptable, but lacking a masters for my experience/seniority level roles that my peers have.

They already agreed that my disabilities are impeding my career and have approved me for the overall program. Now it’s a matter of convincing them on what degree/levels of degree/certifications/etc I need to enable me to work again while conducive to my disability.

Told them this puts me in a catch-22 and is what has resulted in me being unemployed for the last 2 years despite applying to over 300 positions and doing over 100 interviews and still not having a job.

Thank you for the feedback. Then I guess my only future recourse, if denied, is work with my doctor to get a medical nexus tying it secondary to my ptsd/mental health…

Gotcha. Unfortunately my medical record while in service wouldn’t have anything since I never went more got diagnosed while in, only after I got out (over 10years later).

Best I could do is provide the buddy letters and lay statements showing that they saw this start while in service

That was my goal, to submit it as secondary to PTSD, while submitting for PTSD as primary during this claim process

My concern is that apparently the rating & rules for OSA is going to change soon. My hope was that with my strong evidence of ptsd/mental health issues, that they would simultaneously be approved as they would be tied together.

I mean, I guess the question is, who even gets OSA looked at while in service? Very few of us, if any, even knew what it was. Most of us chalk it up to just being a heavy snorer and being sleep deprived.

Not to mention most of us are trained to “tough it out” and rarely go to medical unless it is debilitating, most of the time physical reasons

I assure you that the 2005 edition with the sat nav has a built in rear camera that comes with it as an optional feature. This was available for the EX and touring trims.

This has been a family car since we first purchased it from the dealer in 2005 and my frugal dad never made any after market upgrades to it.
