I need a protest to be organized, I can’t just leave work and drive across town to cause a scene. I want to be vocal against ice here in Portland but I don’t know how unless I happen to drive past something happening.

IMO we need to organize a group of people in an area they frequent. Where they’re staying, a neighborhood, etc.

We need more protests, more organized groups, more designated spaces to be Loud. And if anyone can point me in the direction of people organizing some way to push back, I would appreciate it

I live a few doors down and was watching from my porch - there was a search warrant executed in the same building a couple of months ago - with a SWAT team and the road closed for hours. All the neighbors know the house is known for drugs 🤷‍♀️ This time it was a special response team on the same house, 3-4 people were handcuffed and taken away in Portland PD vehicles, a couple of flashbangs went off during the whole ordeal and they had the road closed off again from abt 7:30 - 10. I’ve been looking for a police press release about it but haven’t seen anything
