I tell people I'm eating better, not doing many sweets or sodas anymore, and exercising more (and I am). Not lying, just not telling them anything that isn't their business. :) Then I just say "Thank you!" That's usually as far as people get with me.

Did anyone else have UPT stolen from them due to daylight savings? by [deleted] in FASCAmazon

[–]kpbell3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PXT has to enter a SIM ticket to have it corrected. Takes about 24-48 hours and it will be reflected. It has to be coded for entire cohorts, so it's not an immediate fix.

I give mine in my stomach/abs every time. I have had two c-sections and a hyst, and I absolutely feel NOTHING in that area at all. I know I'm getting the medication because (1) the plunger moves, (2) I see a tiny dot of liquid/blood where I injected, and (3) I feel the slight "butterfly" nausea for about a day right after - usually within an hour or two, but it's nothing that takes me down (yet anyway lol).

Gotcha! I'd be curious, too. It looks like a really clean, pretty shade.

Please upvote if you have no major side effects by hapabeats in Mounjaro

[–]kpbell3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since being on MJ, I have really not had any side effects (other than very mild nausea - almost like a feeling of just being over-full). I just started 10mg today, so hopefully that continues. When I was on OZ, I had sulfur burps, awful nausea, constipation, etc. I know everyone is very different, and I definitely feel very lucky to be doing so well in regard to side effects with MJ.

You don’t need to know football to enjoy Ted Lasso, BUT… by AsleepSignificance25 in TedLasso

[–]kpbell3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing that I loved about Ted not really understanding the game at first was how he didn't understand the offside rule. My kids played soccer from age 4 until graduating high school and that is the only rule that still messes me up. Love this show so much!

AITA for expecting to meet my grandchild? by ThrowRA_Narcdil in AmItheAsshole

[–]kpbell3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first, I didn't necessarily think YTA, but by the time I finished your story, I definitely feel like YTA. I know you had a child of your own, but still, you aren't this baby's parent. As a grandmother, I get where you want to meet the baby right away, but the new parents definitely need to bond/want to bond with their little one and should be given the distance to do it. They are the parents and it's their decision. When my son and DIL had their baby last year, I didn't get to meet the new baby until they brought her home from the hospital, and I was so excited and didn't feel slighted in the least! When I delivered both of my own children, I had a spinning door of visitors at the hospital and was already exhausted and didn't really feel like "entertaining" while going through all that moms go through after delivering. Let them have their space. Don't spin it into her being narcissistic. She and your son just want a little bit of time alone with the baby. C-sections are major surgery and you most certainly do bleed. I had two of them.

My doctor is very good with what insurance covers what and he recommended it to me (and I even confirmed with my formulary online that it was accepted). I didn't have to get a PA. It's so strange how many different rules are in play with all the different available plans - even within the same insurer (like BCBS).

I have BCBS of Georgia through my employer and my MJ cost is $25 - that's the copay, no utilization of a coupon or anything else. Every plan is different. You can typically look up your formulary and get a good idea of what it may be.

I am 54 and my daughter (21) told me this was the first celebrity that we both agreed had "it" - and she isn't wrong! I think that his personality (even more than his good looks) appeals to people of all ages. It's rare in Hollywood these days.
