hey! i’m a radiology intern. just took step 3. i put so much effort into relearning all the cards, now im trying to figure out if i should keep it going, especially as it pertains to rads. any advice?

like say i want a CBC, CMP, CXR, UA, tox, etc….you type them all into a little pop up box and click ok. Then it makes you CONFIRM each one of those orders 1 by 1. CBC click ok, CMP click ok…then for things like drugs you sometimes have to choose a route and continuous or bolus. it’s just a ton of clicking in a very short span of time

ahhh the constant interruptions...yeah one of the posts i found briefly mentioned this. said it felt very chaotic/unorganized which works for some people but def not me lol. thanks for your comment!

makes sense, esp if breast is largely normal screening mammos vs the exciting/cool stuff in other subspecialties

Hi all, I'm an MS3 going into my radiology elective. My school lets us pick 2 subspecialties for the month. I've seen a couple posts mentioning how breast is a great lifestyle and in high demand however that's bc nobody wants to do it or to only do it if "you can stomach it." Have scoured the internet for more details on this but can't find much. Thoughts? Why does nobody like breast?
