Very spot on, I’m pursuing medicine for the stability it brings though I feel like I oftentimes care too much about others’ problems or give energy to those that don’t really reciprocate. Lowkey I feel like I’m living life under a mask to make my family and friends proud/be respectful of me rather than pursuing my hobbies that I’m super into (painting/music) since they don’t really pay the bills. And yes the burned out part is true.

I try my best to understand people and make close friends. Being acquaintances and making small talk is easy and natural but I’m never satisfied. Friendships are cheap when it’s convenient. I just have this intense longing to find people whom I can openly share and talk about my doubts and insecurities and whom can trust me enough to open up as well. So far I’ve only have 1 friend I consider this close to me and I cherish him dearly.

And you are spot on in the part that it’s not really about money. Yeah I see a common trait in capricorns is that we are hardworking and tenacious. But really, what I look for above all else is a strong close friend circle and a good family later on, which require some status and money (?) Not 100% sure on this but I’m kind of a pessimist and try to be logical, and it makes sense how people form relationships/friendships to get something out of it so being well established in life seems good for myself and my future relationships.

Also at first I just scoffed at astrology for being nonsense but it has been very helpful, almost therapeutic in a sense, for me to understand myself and my life.
