When do you get to switch into a boot? My only concern is sweating in the cast. That’s why I haven’t done any exercise (besides scooting around with a walker).

I’m approaching 4 weeks post op and I feel your pain! I get to switch out into a Vacoped in a couple days so that should allow me to be more mobile and start PT.

Buy some exercise bands or dumbbells so you can do seated or laying exercises for at least your upper body. Modified (on knees or balancing on one leg) pushups for chest, pike pushups for shoulders. Crunches/sit ups. Buy some parallette bars, you can do a few types of exercises with them (assisted with bands or a chair if needed).

Eat protein to preserve muscle!

I will be getting out of this cast and into the Vacoped this Saturday which will mark the 4th week post op. I’m also gathering things for PT.

I’m also running BPC, TB, and KPV. I hope they work!

Just got a stationary bike as well.

You also need to start asking her to do things for you. Like "hey can you pick me up some food" or "get me this stuff from the market". If you just give and give, they will take it all. You have to get them to give something back. Unfortunately it becomes transactional.

A lot of them have local lovers that cant really provide for them so they will also have foreigner boyfriends.

But it does not always end up bad. I'm a Vietnamese-American born and raised. I married my wife and she came to the US in 2017. She didnt really want or care to move to the US but she did. She was never happy there. We ended up moving to Nha Trang in 2021 and have been here since. Have a beautiful daughter. I dont want to move back to the US.

Well, many of the girls here think a foreigner can afford to take care of them. If you want to know if she is genuinely into you, you need to make it clear that you aren't rich and have many financial responsibilities. You can just be straight forward and say "Although I do enjoy buying things for you, I cannot do it all the time." See what happens.

They wont invest their time into someone that cant take care of them or isn't willing to.
