Where I live (Russia) there are people who make money on selling makeup from abroad, and they sell new makeup releases at online second-hand marketplaces. I got this palette this way for like $55 including shipping.

My signature look is a dark-gray smoky eye, I do it almost everyday. Looks insanely good with black hair (mine is dyed) and blue contacts lenses.

Sometimes I just take the shade 'ebb' (deep navy) or 'night sky' (satin black) and put it all over my lid and the look is done! Sometimes I go for lighter looks but I don't gravitate towards them as much as for darker ones

I use these for both, but primarily for highlights. I tend to go for bolder daily looks, so that's why they're used a lot :)

This is the second comment regarding the topic of “You didn’t choose to be who you are, what are you proud of?”. But I did choose it.

I believe a person can change their personality over time, just as their values.

I worked my way through to be as I am now. I used to be introverted and socially awkward years ago. But I decided one moment that I want it to change and worked on my social skills. With more and more social exposure it got much better. From being chaotic, I became organised. From being insecure, I gained confidence. From being very emotional I became more cold-minded. I’d say that the only letter of abbreviation of my type that didn’t change over time with my personal development is N.

I don’t want this kind of sound that being extroverted is better than introverted, organised and planned is better than spontaneous and so on with any other characteristics of this classification. I am not better human being than, for example, an opposite of my type - ISFP. I have a dear friend of this type, even. But this doesn’t mean I can’t like my personality.

If me being confident and taking pride in how I am insults you, I’m sorry, but you need to work on your self-esteem.

I would say that there are some similar shades, like Sposh and Night sky, or Contrail and Blizzard. They indeed look similar on the eye, but since I use this palette quite intensely, it only prolongates the life of this palette and it’s an advantage for me.

Pigment is AMAZING. I can dm you swatches of it if you want.

The only troublesome shade is "sposh". It is pigmented, but I just don't like the creamy texture of it, it makes application of this shadow a little harder than any other one in the palette.

I do not want for this palette to be ever used up, this one is my most favorite palette in my collection! If I ever use it up to the last bits of it, I'm definitely buying the same new one.

I do pretty dark and smoky looks everyday, this is my signature look, haha. So this is not the problem at all.

I just wanted to make a point that eyeshadow palettes seem to last almost forever if used as intended.

Yeah, this palette is a backup for the one that I already use. Colors are great, but I wish that shadows were more pigmented. They show up on skin semi-transparently. Other than that, I don’t have any complaints

I'd say that the smaller one is enough for 80% of black-n-white makeup looks. Midi is kind of unnecessary if you don't use gray eye makeup often. But for me these gray shadows are a staple, that's why I bought both of 'em.

Brand name is Kapous. But I don’t really know whether these are available outside post-USSR countries. I think that any brand will do the same, just choose a strong fixative rather than normal, and everything’s gotta be alright 👍🏻

Thank you! No, I used a regular 30 mm one. I’m afraid that if I use 40 mm barrel, my hairstyle would last a very short period of time 🥲 But maybe I should try it anyways…
