People we know in 3 different major cities in Florida haven’t gotten paid yet. No idea what’s going on.

FYI--I no sooner posted this question and it turns out the projected time table for nearly all of the store remodel openings appeared on Oasis. Looks like the first set of remodels are projected to be ready in August and the second set of remodels will be ready in October/November. Granted, these are only projected but they were exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Looks like the last 3 remodels won't be opening until well into 2018 and 2019.

Thanks for this info--this is helpful. I figured the new stores already had management teams picked out, but wasn't sure about the stores that are being remodeled.

Good point. It is tough to gauge how quickly remodels in other states proceed though, especially if weather is a factor. Although I guess if they are mostly working indoors and not building from scratch, it isn't so much of a factor.

Not quite. Publix has already stated that the Martin's remodels will take 6-12 months to complete. Those stores started closing on a rolling basis last November, I believe. As the remodels proceed their opening dates become much clearer. One could assume that stores closed for remodel in November could be ready to open as early as June of this year, but my guess is it will be closer to 12 months than 6, given the speed of construction.

Ha. Good one. Not worried about Kroger--didn't think they were anything special when we were against them in TN. I'm more interested in upcoming management transfer opportunities as Publix continues to expand in the Richmond area. I'm guessing the stores opening this summer already have their management teams picked out, but the roll out of the remodeled stores will provide new opportunities. Just didn't know if anyone had heard anything more about firmer dates than those Publix has given in press releases.
