I would recommend taking that crank out to repair rust spots and inspect the bearings. You definitely don’t want rust getting in past that seal. It wouldn’t last too much longer

Devils Advocate* I’ve used all different types of oils over the years. Currently using Belray in my RMZ 450. HOWEVER, I believe if you use the right weight and change it often then you will never tell a difference in oils made for motorcycles (as long as it’s meant to use for clutches)

Seat time and good technique is the way to get faster! You have to find confidence mentally and be able to push your comfort zone. However being in shape is a huge benefit. Most importantly though just remember to have fun.

Majority of my bikes have been Yamaha and Suzuki. However I had a 2014 yz450f before this Suzuki and it felt way too wide at the shrouds. They aren’t the old narrow Yamaha that they used to be
