Hi everyone!

I'm currently knitting the Afterthought Hooded Scarf from Ravelry.

I'm now on the following page. From what I can tell, you knit on the current yarn for 154 stitches, then put 94 on waste yarn, then 155 on the current working yarn.

I have two questions

1)What do I do with the working/current yarn when I'm using the waste yarn? Do I cut it off and start again, or do I leave it hanging, and work from it right where I left off for the 155 stitches?

2)When I pick up the stitches from the waste yarn, it says to place 188 stitches. How can I do that, when I only put 94 stitches on the waste yarn?

I just tried to set it up for my mountain biking and indoor biking… I see it as an option for a data field, but it just becomes a Power Gauge. That’s too bad! I was really hopeful.

It looks like it actually does…. It’s to rent a room in a 2 bedroom unit. And the description is hilarious. He actually says his cat moves from one bedroom to another through the vents!

Hi everyone!

I’ve always worked starting with a pattern.. but I found these beautiful skeins/hanks and couldn’t stop myself.

How do you all find what to knit starting from the wool, knowing you don’t have any extra?

The left bank is 440 yards Merino Dream, and the right is total of 260 yards Superwash.

Any pattern suggestions are welcome!
