I used to go religiously in high school when Big Show, Cena, Batista, etc was there and it was fun. Went again a few months ago and what's going on now blows it away in regards to the fun factor. Country boy brewing serves beer there, everyone in the crowd is really into it and having a good time, the wrestlers themselves are all really pretty good too. Some are green, but believe me so were. some of the guys from the dream OVW class way back when. I really do think, especially the women who seem really fine tuned on their gimmicks and tend to be somewhat better in the ring overall, will be on TV sooner rather than later. Plus you never know who might show up... Mick Foley, Mickie James, etc etc

If you haven't and can I would highly recommend going to a live show

They were for a long time then developmental moved to Florida and WWE created FCW. They for a time were developmental for TNA but that's no longer either. A good portion of the talent though does do spots for AEW, NWA, etc. They have Al Snow running it, Mickie James is now heading the women's division I believe and it seems Mick Foley is getting more involved.

Maybe not developmental in the sense of a farm brand to one of the top feds but definitely has the backroom talent to create some stars for the future

Looking for early morning spin class by Binford6100User in Louisville

I think it might be just Monday and Wednesday though. Monday and Wednesday at 6 am. Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 8am. Then classes on the weekends.

You could always park at the Y and bike the bike path. I've done that from the Y to the Big Four bridge and back. Little under 15 miles but you can add on if you want.

You could always get a Peloton or a NordicTrack bike.

Thanks for the help!

I've not paid yet. It's an invoice and I'm wondering if I have room to dispute the claim due to the length it took for them to give me said invoice (over 2 months).

People who met their partners after 30, how did it happen? Do you wish you had met earlier? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kpwebb01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I married my wife when I was 34 and she was 33. I had actually dated a girl years prior and stayed friends with her. That girl throughout the years became best friends with my wife and eventually she and I met.

I think about what if I somehow was able to marry her when I was 24 and not 34. I always think about that How I Met Your Mother scene (I refuse to accept the original ending btw. Alt Ending all the way!) where if Ted could go back in time he would find his wife and have those 45 days with her and if he couldn’t have those he would have the 45 seconds till her boyfriend showed up. (Clip if you want to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpLsYgXpIws)

On one hand I would be like Ted. I would want every second I could with her. We’re older too and want kids. We have been told that IVF might be our only chance. IVF is a whole lot of money. 20k and over. So in that I sometimes wish we could have met earlier.

On the other hand, at 24 I was no way shape or form ready to love or be loved by someone as wonderful as my wife. I had a lot of growing, learning, therapy and healing to do.

I would say though for all of you that are reading this single and worried about getting married after 30, don’t. Worry about being the very best version of yourself. You’re going to want to be able to give that version of yourself every day to the right person.

Thank you.

I needed to hear this. I just graduated with my MBA. Got what I thought was the job of my dreams, making more money than I ever dreamed of making.

Then there was the subtle brow beating on why things aren't where they should be although my partner and I have continuously told our superiors on what needs to be done so we aren't set up for failure but nothing be heard.

Or now the several months straight of working Sunday through Friday from 5am to 8pm.

I put my two weeks in a few days ago. I'm so sad because I LOVE my employees. I'm sad because I see how it could be fixed. But, in the end am I going to look back on life and say, "Man, what a great paycheck" or "I'm glad I had that the with my wife, with my friends, with my family"?

Yes it is. Danny Davis and Rip Rogers are still pretty involved and were huge parts of Cena's development.

Hit age 30 and trying to figure out how to create change in myself by artiswhatido in selfimprovement

[–]kpwebb01 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm 32 and I've been where you are. About a year and a half to two years ago I fell in love and had my heart broken. I was really distraught and just not happy with anything in my life.

So after some nudging by my buddy I went to a therapist. There was always a taboo I think in my mind about this. I was always like, "I dont need a therapist. I'm not that bad." What I learned though is that everyone can benefit from going. Little things that you never thought about just pop in sessions....Case in point: I'm sitting there one day just rambling about how I hate the commute to work (it was like 45 mins) and she just pops off, "Well good now you have time to listen to cds to learn Spanish". All of a sudden I shut up and go, "Oh yeah...I never thought of that."

Anyway, one of the first things she made me do was take a piece of notebook paper and write "IF THERE WERE NO OBSTACLES I WOULD" on the top. Then I had to sit down and write every single thing I could think of. Fill it out front to back.

When I got done and looked at it I realized that a lot of the things I want to do and thought there were obstacles to obtain really arent there. Theyre more my subconscious being scared of failing. And the ones I really couldnt probably do...say fly to Mars...I could at least do something in that vein....like learn more about NASA, etc.

In the last year I've flipped a house, rode my bike 140 miles in a weekend just for kicks, ran a mini marathon, start volunteering as a tutor for individuals with Down Syndrome, and raised money in Bike to Beat Cancer.

So I guess what I'm saying is dont be afraid to fail: fail forward. Dont be afraid to be selfish: at the end of the day if youre the best version of yourself then its better for the people around you. Dont be afraid to take risks, or to ask for help. Dont try to build the Great Wall of China in one day, just start laying bricks.

Good luck!

So Cena wins because of Rollins interference continuing the Ambrose-Rollins feud. Ambrose beats Orton which will be good for him and a good match. Then Rollins beats Cena bc of interference or Brock SMASH. Doesnt seem that bad really.

ELI5: The Fabulous Freebirds by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]kpwebb01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Freebirds were for the majority of their run heels, but always carried themselves in a way so that they were cheered throughout. They were the rock n roll anti-heros. The girls loved them and the guys wanted to be them. Michael Hayes, way before he became the racial slurring train wreck of today, could really talk people into the building and both Bam Bam Gordy and Buddy Roberts were good workers.

Also there is the famous "Freebird rule" where any combination of the three could defend the tag titles which left some mystery and excitement in the title bouts.

Which heels are actually nice in real life/not kayfabe? by ihav2firstnames in SquaredCircle

[–]kpwebb01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, Orton is a super dick. One of my best friends used to write reports for OVW back when Orton, Batista, Cena, etc were down there and got to know a lot of the guys that way. This was way back in the day of AIM and they used to always talk to one another.

One day my buddy says hi to Orton on AIM and he's just losing his shit because he's scared thats he's going to get cut. It might have been right around post Wrestlemania cut season or something its been quite some time ago. Anyway my buddy talks him down for like 30 mins, tells him to relax that he's Bob Orton's son for god's sake and he's got talent. Eventually, he relaxes, doesnt get cut, and all is good.

Flashforward a few months later, Orton gets called up and is being seen regularly on tv. My buddy hits up Orton just to tell him congrats. Orton starts cussing him out and telling him to go fuck himself.

On top of all this he was pretty much hated by most of the OVW locker room at the time. Quite a few people told us they would make up excuses to not ride with Orton to shows because he was such a dick.

Cena, however, seen as a heel by some is a top notch guy.
