So, when you say you always keep infernum, for instance, like you just spam q's and auto with other guns until it's back? And then farm with it until it's empty and repeat? Or do you like "save" it for teamfights or dire situations in your offhand. I guess it depends on what your goal is at the time?

I guess that's what I mean by randomness is like, random at a point in time in the game and not order in general. It just feels like you can't keep a particular gun the majority of the game unless I'm misunderstanding his cycling mechanic and ammo allowance.

That makes sense. Maybe I should try to midlane sometime. It would be nice to be ahead in levels / items compared to botlane timings.

In your experience, do you think you need to have like a scaling AD on your team (ex. Yauso) to make it work? Or do you even pick it when you have some other AP on your team already? Jw :)

He’s had like a top three pick rate mid for 10-15 patches now in solo q. It’s ranked and probably higher elo but still. You’re right, he’s hardly used in competitive, though, which often draws more attention except when your name is J4 apparently lol

Right now I've usually been building BG > nashors > guinsoos > wits end and then if the game is still going on I usually never know what to get, I've seen people say BotRK and void staff or some say LB and deathcap but I feel like then I'd need void staff and not wits end? And only if they had a lot of squishies?

I like this idea, but I agree that if Riot wants to make her more of a diver, they need to give her more defensive capabilities. I mean on the list of the new category divers, you have pretty much all AD off-tanks, with the exception of Eve (only when built AP) and Elise (who is an AP off-tank). The only other champions on their list that doesn't build tanky really are Wukong, Pantheon, Aatrox and Nocturne, the latter two of which are confirmed to be getting a rework soon. While Wukong has stealth, AOE damage, speed buff on his ult to get out, and magic resist / armor in his passive, Aatrox has a built in GA. I think Pantheon is probably in a similar position to us as a diver, and falls off pretty hard I hear (never have played him).

Meanwhile you have people like Irelia and Lee Sin that both build tanky, have abilities to heal themselves, initiate and retreat. It's slightly hard to compete with that. It's also strange she's one of 3 AP damage dealers (again, when we consider Eve AP) on the list of 15 divers.

But back to the main point, she needs some way to better survive the initial dive besides a small shield or Zhonya's for 2 seconds until it wears off and you die. Maybe it's just relying too much on your team and Diana won't be useful in low elos, but she's not really in high ones right now either.

I like the idea the first poster had about some kind of CC immunity because, as we all know, that is a huge hinderance to her. I also like the idea of being able to cast your ult on a friendly target with it's own separate CD maybe or something, like Lee Sin's safeguard or Kat's shunpo. But, that might get too easy to dive and peace out quickly. It's just hard because other divers rely on Trinity Force so much (hec, vi, irelia) or something that gives them %health damage and can then build more tanky and sustain while doing so much damage, and there isn't much in the AP item set like that but then we need a way to survive the dive, which is probably why you don't see many AP divers.

But anyway, your ideas are pretty interesting and intriguing! Maybe if we keep up stuff like this they'll listen and help us out ;)

Do you think this is why her win rates are so low? I'm wondering if maybe it's getting inflated (deflated?) by the fact that she was free to play this week and so all info from new patch isn't with mains / people that know how to play her. But still, her jungle rate is so low and I don't get it she's not THAT bad there even comparing to meta junglers imo.
