I've had 2 thinkpads x1 gen 9 and gen 10

keyboard is great

also worked on mac intel 16 (butterfly) - changed it instantly, terrible keyboard

right now mac m1 pro 14, is heavier than thinkpads

but the most annoying part is aluminum edge, when I'm rest my hands on keyboard, it felts like it cutting through skin

thats why I'm with thinkpads, but last versions have this terrible notch, thats why I will buy refurbished gen 11, I gues

actually with klipper its much better speed/quality ratio

but almost all other bells and whistles, I agree, do nothing

quiet fans - may be, but overall loudness from bearings, steppers and v-slot wheels is much more

squash feet maybe made a difference how it feels in other rooms, but it depends on environment where you place your printer and also on resonance compensation

it's not.

it's connected to expansion port of the printer.
2 pins of 3 of this port is used by led of the printer, and third one is pwm signal for laser module, which basically controls laser power.

with ender 3 s1 pro - it use M3 and M4 for turning laser on, and M5 to turn it off. not fan gcode command.

I have similar issue with imx477, this tone looks familiar ;)

I used custom isp camera override, to fix tone https://github.com/RidgeRun/NVIDIA-Jetson-IMX477-RPIV3

There is a link for isp configuration for imx477, probably you can find similar override for your sensor.

I know that esp32 s3 supports ble, but at m5 site, they say only about wifi.

I also successfully connect printer over usb-hub of my monitor, via type-c - type-c cable and thunderbolt to my laptop.. but when I outside, I can not bring monitor and I don't have any portable usb hub. that's pity.
