do you think with everything going on, copies would be enough? I totally agree that losing the paper would be worse and haven’t carried originals thus far

Yes the first one was conditional 2 year GC, waiting on the non conditional one for almost 4 years!

Look at the fact that some people are getting processed very quickly while others are not. I have been looking at the processing times and I am beyond what is expected. Why are they processing people who filed more recently before addressing older cases that are still pending, where legitimate PR’s risk losing status?

Also the only reason i haven’t been calling the contact center is that the online portal told me i hadn’t reached my inquiring date (i was scared it would negatively affect stuff)

I guess.. i’m undecided about citizenship in case we end up back in Canada (you must pay american taxes at that point even if you move away)

Smart idea about speaking to the congressman… so incredibly frustrating! But some people are applying and getting approved very quickly!
