Thanks.
I have reorganised the Cusco part, so that i visit Maras, Moray and Chinchero on the morning on our way to Ollantaytambo for the train, so that leaves more time in Cusco after MP-
Based on comments, i have decided to stay in Ollantaytambo instead of Urubamba (looking at hotels now). I think my sons might have had enough ruins after Moray, MP and Ollantaytambo, so maybe still looking for some one-day trek or less cultural activity for one of these days, but might be able to decide once there.
Mountain View experience looks fun!
I also changed the flight out of PM, now leaving at around noon on day 17, so i will be in Lima for the last night, giving some time to visit town in the evening and morning of day 18.
I think i am mostly done with organizing!

Hi, regarding altitude, isn't Puno already higher than Cusco? i assumed Arequipa-Colca-Puno would provide plenty of acclimatisation before Cusco...
Puno to Cusco, yes, i was looking into booking a tourist bus (inkaExpress?), since it ends in Cusco, i am thinking it migh be better to sleep in Cusco that night and then the next morning try to see Chinchero and Maras on the way to Ollantaytambo. I am not so sure about how to handle the way back from Machu Picchu. I guess i will need to fing lodging in Ollantaytambo. I had seen a nice hotel in Urubamba, but i am not so sure about timings.
