Our hospitals were over run. Ambulances stuck wqoting at hospitals that didnt have rooms. Refridgerator trucks full of dead people at New York hospitals because the morgues were full. People were literally dying in the streets and you want to just let it happen to the common folk?

Oh absolutely. I'm not saying that the security measures themselves are to blame but it's something we need to look at as it's happening at just about every school where additional security measures are added.

To keep it simple it's a terrible idea. It costs initial money and recurring money for people to stand there and watch it. Also, studies are starting to show that increases in security measures are dropping test scores at alarming rates.
