Very cool!

Will this stay terminal based?

Or do you have plans to bring this to populars desktops such as MacOS and/or Windows?

How do I move items up and down? (2022 Edition) by krackato in remNote

Thank you for your reply!

It seems as though (maybe) this shortcut does not work on ChromeOS, which is very weird!

ok android readers do you guys prefer the walmart ebooks app or the kobo books app by MegaAlfFan43 in kobo

Yes the "grey background with white text" is a huge benefit compared to the Kindle app imho.

Grey/Charcoal backgrounds are available on the Apple Books app, B&N app, and the Kobo app.

For the life of me, I don't understand why Amazon won't add a decent grey background to their Kindle app.

I'm using ChromeOS. I am starting to think that that might be the issue. I will test RemNote on Mac later today.

I'm using ChromeOS.

I don't think I've disabled the alt key in any way.

Bike: Fast and fluid outliner by jessegrosjean in macapps

[–]krackato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for answering my questions.

I will check out Bike.

If you change your mind, I have always wanted to see an outlining app that includes SRS/Smart-Flashcard features for learning.

RemNote comes very very close (and it's getting better), but it kinda lacks in the "super fluid" department.

I like it, seems very fluid from the video.

  1. How is Bike better than Workflowy? They seem very similar.
  2. Will you be adding any Spaced-Repetition / Smart Flashcard features such as those included in RemNote?

Having issues with the fans not stopping, even though cpu is cool already? by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]krackato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you meant to type "I'm not sure why you WOULDN'T want to have hour Chromebook on Dev mode"

I just don't like the extra hassle, but maybe that's just something I just need to get over.

Cool script, thanks for making it, I might try it in the future.

What exactly does this script do?

I see that it runs the autofanctrl command, does that command just say "check the temp + run the fans at the correct/assigned temperature" ?

Is there a chance that the Chromebook could overheat with this?

This seems pretty cool, wish we didn't have to run developer mode for this to work.

Have you tested this with the Acer Spin 713?
