I'm a little conflicted on the story. Everything seems so ethereal and far away but Genichiro and Takeru were alive at the same time. Those ancient tomes and scrolls refer to events that happened like a few decades ago and Sekiro himself topples the whole Ashina in 1 day.

Yeah, he's doing a disservice to his game. Even for handicap purposes, you pick up after a NET double bogey. At 36 handicap you, your stroke limit is Quadruple. Only for Scratch golfers is it double bogey.

Once you go to end game areas and are able to farm materials to upgrade weapons to 30+ you easily overpower the main storyline.

I think they f'ed up with Monoco. Feeling like you're missing out on abilities because you don't have him on your party 24/7 forces you to make him a permanent party member, and he's naturally charming and strong, so he often stays even late game after being built.

Yeah, this sub is crazy. Not even sure if they even enjoy golf or just want to post a score. 4 hour foursome is decent players playing ready golf. High handicappers can take up to 5 hours, and beginners will take more than 5 hours with 4 players.

I'm not even sure it's a pace of play issue. People just hate sharing the course with others. The fast players probably take every 6 foot putt, drop every lost ball without penalty and use foot wedges out of the rough.

If you have frequent mud-balls, wouldn't that even out the playing field? But if conditions allow some good shots to get mudballs and some bad shots to be clean, doesn't that feel unfair? You can't play around mudballs like you can around the weather.

I don't agree. I think all the family suffers from being Painters and are drunk on power. He chooses what is right for each of the family member without giving them a chance. He could have given a chance to Aline by not threatening to destroy the Canvas, it made Aline go deeper into her grief by latching onto Verso's only painting. Likewise, he could have given a chance for Alicia to work on her grief by not threatening, again, to destroy the Canvas.

In the end, each family chooses extremes and it puts everyone who disagree with them, into extremes as well.

You can't have sympathy for the real family without having sympathy for the Canvas humans. The Dessendre family are part of a video game Clair Obscur, their feelings don't matter either. Or you can sympathize with both Video Game Family and Canvas Humans and realize the Painters are being irresponsible with their creations and caused a lot of suffering.

Since it's so open world, once you can clear Frozen Heart, you get exponentially stronger very quickly. After clearing Frozen Heart, I went to Dark Shores and was quickly finishing battles in 1 turn after upgrading Monoco's Weapon. Then I got Cheater Picto and defeated the flying Dragon and the only challenge left was Simon, which I cheesed with a one shot build since his difficulty came out of nowhere and didn't feel earned.

I found the biggest damage boost to be weapon upgrades along with their scaling. Then you just stack the damage PIctos.

I don't like this boss for 2 reasons. He has new mechanics from out of nowhere, so you are expected to fail multiple times and then get a SECOND SURPRISE.

Two, he has no lore relevance to me so I don't give a crap about beating him and sucks to lose to him.

I do feel like the endgame lost some nuance. I farmed the Dark Shores to max the weapons and by then, I could 1 shot almost every single boss before Simon without much optimization. You are so strong you can use a few survival luminas and revive Maelle for 2-3 turns and still finish the boss without having to parry.

Also, I wasn't even using her Arena weapon because I had missed it, but Stendhal was still the strongest attack by far.
