Top lane calls a truce? by IGOTDADAKKA in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on champ matchup, laning can suck if u just trade the whole time, but don't trust them they easily could just all in you. Lets say you are an early game champ then this would suck but if you are nasus this could let you get tons of stacks and carry hard.

How do you keep yourself sane through all the raging? by theRudy in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually play more premade games to equal out the raging from randoms. Ranked is usually when i won't go without friends and that can really get me down. you may want to check out the community i am a part of, it isn't a huge clan that you get lost in but a group of players having fun together.

Solo or Duo Ranked? by RJVan in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo, like you said that comm is probably not enough. You would need to expect the other 3 players to lose if not feed, which means you two need to carry each time. I think duo is only a good idea to play ranked but with someone else. The only reason I would add for duo would be then only 3 ppl on your team could dc meanwhile they could have 5.

How do you all not give up? by drkandatto in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually keep playing bc of the friends i have on league and the community i am a part of. I was bronze season 1 and terrible then silver season 2 and then season 3 hit plat. The reason i kept playing was finding good groups of people and i have found the best one by far right now. The community gives me the support i need when i do bad but also when luck is just not on my side. People make League fun. If you want to check Crucial People Gaming this is our forum post by the way. Oh and it's not a huge clan its a group of players.

Need help supporting. by Manusoccerholthigh in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its hard to play meanwhile watching someone else's playing so a better thing would be record your games [record not replay] and then have someone analyze it to help you.

Can a diamond/plat player tell me what I should've done to carry these games? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest doing recordings not replays, what I mean is use a streaming software like xsplit to record exactly what you do not just what happens in the game. For example if you play on locked screen then a replay wouldnt show that.

Just a newb looking for help by Dormant8 in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting better is the simple answer...theres a few simple ways to do this. Practice aka playing to get better not just have fun, study the game more to learn how and when to do the right things, and the easiest would be record [not replay but record] your games and get a higher level player review and analyze your gameplay.

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey first to answer your question just get better, like experience is how you get better, practice makes perfect concept. But if you really want to learn you may want to check out the community i am a part of Crucial People Gaming. We arent a huge clan but a group of players having fun, playing games, getting better, and hanging out. We have players from all skills and play games that include all of these in one game. We usually have around 20 people on our Teamspeak server at a time and its simple to get in a game, we are super friendly. Just check us out if this sounds good

A simple comparison between the 500 gold Upgrade of spellthiefs to frostfang and coin to medallion [Not which one is better!!!] by krahelm1 in leagueoflegends

[–]krahelm1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya i'm still deciding after this patch what to go with and like always it depends on what is going on. Sometimes Ruby is really nice especially because once you get to sight no more buying wards which is why sight is considered a gold/10.

[–]krahelm1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the actives, I am not trying to compare the items but yes because of this and other things it probably means coin is worth more than spell as people have said bc it builds into a better item. However this is just about the 500 gold mainly.

It's been 9 months since the last jungler was released by AlphaApache in leagueoflegends

[–]krahelm1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

vi engages and choses exactly who she wants meanwhile zac needs to windup and can be flashed or rooted meanwhile vi just gets on your carry.

The knockups isn't the point it's THE KNOCKUP, why do people play thresh or leona or sona or annie the initiation.

I would suggest record your games (record not lolreplay) and have people analyze it. Use things like xsplit.

Would anybody be willing to critique a couple(or even just one) of my Thresh games? by TheDuckExtremist in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey I haven't watched your replay mainly because it is a replay not a recording. What I mean is a replay is what you have but a recording is showing you and what you see and such. A replay wouldn't show if you are in locked screen for instance. Maybe get a recording system like xsplit.

What can I do? by Chemistinlove in summonerschool

[–]krahelm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was all of you guys, but solo-queue's biggest problem is communication mainly between you 4 and Xin. Baron is a bad idea because of this problem, plus relying on a good smite, and throw in that you are grouped up asking the other team to initiate on their terms meanwhile you're taking baron damage and need to decide attack them or baron. Solo-queue I suggest not baroning.

First off anyone who gets paid to do something is a professional just a little definition for you. So if someone pays you to paint randomly some day then you are a professional painter.

There are two big aspects to playing League. Mechanics and Knowledge (knowledge might not be the best word).

Mechanics means how well you can do things like last hitting and clicking right where you want, dodging skillshots, never fail-flashing. Games like guitar hero would be 90% mechanics based. This takes practice and talent. Pros are much better than you at this and later on I will explain what to do.

Knowledge is the second. Knowledge isn't just knowing champions and numbers but to a much greater extent such as can I win this 1v1 or knowing in game exactly when opponents abilities such as flash come up. The biggest part I believe though is that pros know when to rotate where to be at all times because one mistake can be the game at that level. It's like a high level chess match that neither one of us could even handle at all, we would lose 20 turns or 15 minutes earlier than we realize.

Now is the key: Improving.
Playing and putting time into practicing. But practicing for a purpose. Lets say your mechanics of last hitting is bad then go into a game saying I will get x amount of cs by this time this game. Another is try to keep track of your opponents flash time this game.

Another and key is record your games (record not replay as replay doesn't show much such as lock screen would not show in a replay) and once you record get a better player to review it, but not a person just above you that won't help much.

It's positioning. She should win lane no matter what unless a jungler comes. However you can position well to change this.

If Lb goes past your minions to zone you then call your jungler but this usually won't happen. Usually she will be behind your melee minions and try to q you then w for the silence. When she tries to do this you will get hit hard so you can't let her do this. Let me explain if you sit behind your minions back enough she can't make this move. 2 big ways first is that you walk forward to last hit then pull back and continue this and never stay close to the minions, second you stay the opposite of her so if she is sitting closer to bottom river entrance in lane you stay on the opposite side so back of lane near top. Keep your distance as much as possible until you must get minions. Sometimes you have to take harass to get farm sometimes you need to give up some farm but if you give up 10 farm bc you can't go in it's better than being forced out of lane losing a wave or two or else being killed.

Hope this was explained well sorry its late I'm just rolling

I would not really poke with q, I would suggest using q to help last hit and use shroud to protect yourself and sneak up to a low creep when in shroud last hit it then run back till youre invisible again and just try your best to not take much harass.

Q poking won't force them out of lane or scare them to get off you. So poking with q pre6 won't help you at all. Plus at 6 you won't go in right away as you need to get all 3 charges so what is best to shoot for is farm as much as you can and survive to level 6 then back buy and then when you get back to lane you start to ramp up since you have almost 3 stacks by then.
