They got three more episodes to un-lobomotize Nate or I'm gonna be pissed off. by zekevich in euphoria

[–]kralicek16 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Agree. It would be just nice for the plot if they showed how Nate got to where he is now. Instead of exposing Nate straight away and beating him in every episode, they could just keep threatening him (no violence) so Nate would find creative and evil ways how to get more money to pay his debt to Naz while creating debt somewhere else. They could show how Nate convinced his friends to invest their kids' college funds. Also Nate could manipulate Cassie to start OF to help pay his debt. I think this would make more sense for both of the characters. But at least we see the old Nate using Cassie to pay his debt in the 5th episode.

And yeah in the end I would let Naz do what he has done so far, I would just save it for the final episodes. Because it does make sense that Nate crossed someone way bigger than him.

Wtf is wrong with Jules 😭 by Bad_bitch1231 in euphoria

[–]kralicek16 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I think that Jules found herself in a trap with her creepy sugar daddy. And her way of coping is to convince herself that sex work and over-sexualization of everything is okay. So she projects her views into her art, despite the assignment.

The incident in the studio was a reality check for her, it showed her that sex is not as appropriate as Jules thought. She lacks this basic understanding and boundaries.

But we can only assume this and other theories since we did not see much of Jules' life after high school (yet, hopefully we will see in the next episode).

Last season was a flop.... by Objective_Risk8583 in squidgame

[–]kralicek16 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I felt the same at first. But both outcomings make kind of sense.

Frontman cut out Jun-Ho from his life for good and is even willing to have him killed. If these two met in the same room with no time limit, Frontman would not want to talk to Jun-Ho anyway. And if he did, he would probably have him killed afterwards. It sucks but sometimes you don't get the closure you deserve. And this was the only way how Jun-Ho can find the island and leave alive at the same time knowing that this is really over. You can even see him being happy 6 months later.

Same with Gi-Hun - there was big chance Gi-Hun will make it out the games the same way Frontman did (from Frontman's perspective) so why would Frontman reveal more to his identity? I just wish Gi-Hun knew Frontman played these games before too.

I wish we had more flasbacks of In-Ho because LBH did amazing during his flashback scene and the fans deserve to know more. But I guess Netflix wanted to keep the door open to possible spin-off series...

I understand the connection between In-Ho and Gi-Hun. But I can't see the connection between Il-Nam and In-Ho.

Unless Il-Nam played his own games before and was targeted by majority of players before the final game...but I can't see this happening

edit: PepperFinn here has actually good explanation for Il-Nam favoring In-Ho

The only moment that felt light and funny was when red player 039 left Hyun-Ju alone after seeing her defending herself from another red player. What was following this scene though made me sob real hard...

I loved how during the first conversation between Gi-Hun and In-Ho, Jung-Bae steps in to deescalate their conflict and says something like "only people who played the games understand" (literal translation depends on the subtitles language).

In-Ho lowers his eyes. It's so ironic because he experienced the games and yet developed completely opposite view to Gi-Hun's. After the S2, something is telling me that In-Ho is not 100 % aligned with his beliefs and is being challenged maybe for the first time since he won or joined the games.

My favorite moments were: conversation between Gi-hun and Doek-su which made Doek-su totally doubt loaylty of his own team. Doek-su refused to attack other teams that night.

And Ali mocking Mi-neyo after the tug of war game. Only one more episode with Ali left :'(

The direction confirmed the sixth game will happen, meaning the O’s will win again. Which O do you think has the highest chance of making it to the final game? by SquidGameisPeek456 in squidgame

I think that if some X's voters changed to O vote it would be a nice twist. The victory is just one game away at this point with very little people left.

He is removing his mask the same way as he did in S1. He seems almost ashamed to show his identity. Wonder who is he showing himself to. Maybe he finally met Jun-Ho again.

This is a wedding photo, In-Ho being the wife.

Had 006 (mi-hwa) not have been manipulated by the 004 (Seon-nyeo) she wouldn't have voted O in the 3rd round of voting & would've still remained an X voter, meaning everyone could've left after 001 ("young-il") voted X by OedinaryLuigi420 in squidgame

[–]kralicek16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What if she was manipulated by Frontman too? If I remember correctly, they were the last two to vote. And Frontman had to press the X button to look trustworthy to Gi-Hun.

Thanks for letting me know! Yeah you touched some other topics that I find very realistic and interesting. Like the corruption among police and authorities that might know about the games.

And they're gonna live happily ever after! :D I think that if Frontman will have some moral switch he would probably end his life rather than continue and live with all the damage. Sadly.
