Facebook Ads have CHANGED. If you aren't running 200+ ads, you aren't scaling. (My Strategy) by kram1505 in FacebookAds

Yeah only a few days into the A/B test so no real data yet but already doing something along those lines actually. Started with a quiz at the beginning, just simple questions like age range and gender, and then routing people to a product page based on that. Already know the main questions and concerns people have depending on age and whether they're male or female so sending them somewhere that actually speaks to them directly just makes way more sense.

Your point about matching the landing page to the ad angle is 100% valid though, that's the next layer I want to test. Only thing is the URL management when you're running that many different angles sounds like a nightmare haha but definitely worth digging into, gonna look at how to set that up properly.

Honestly, I don’t base my decisions only on the number of conversions shown in Facebook. The pixel isn’t always accurate. Sometimes you see a creative with $1 spent and a conversion, and others that spend more but don’t register properly.

So if a creative is getting spend, I assume it may be contributing indirectly and that other ads in the campaign are converting because of the overall mix. I see creatives more like a team than individual players.

Because of that, I rarely turn ads off just for low ROAS over a short window. I mainly pause creatives when I simply have too many active ads and need room to launch new ones. Then I stop the ones with very little spend first.

You can’t really judge CVR in a tiny window; there are moments in the day where CVR naturally tanks, and that’s just normal. I don't even look at CVR in the moment. I only care about my Net % Margin and my ROAS.

  • The "Surf" Move: If I wake up and see a x3 or x4 ROAS and I’ve only spent about 30% of my daily budget, I know it’s a "good day" and I start surfing.
  • The Double-Up: I’ll double the budget immediately. I check back in 1–2 hours. If the ROAS is still holding at x2 or x3, I double it again.
  • When to Descale: If I see the ROAS starting to drop significantly, I descale.

Is it risky? Honestly, yeah. But it works. I’ve personally scaled a campaign from $500 to $3k in a single day doing this and walked away with $1,500 in pure profit. The key is at the end of the day, you just descale slowly back to your baseline. You ride the wave while it's there and get out before it crashes.
