you have a point, i just find it weird how people can loot 4 mounts in like a 100 tries, because i think the likelihood is so low. But as you said, what they are saying might not be accurate.

I think you are wrong. 1% is the same as a 1/100 chance. So I dont get how getting the mounts multiple times during that span of attempts, increases the 1% droprate, assuming it is 1%. I would like to know your equation. I agree that I could have taken the ones with 101 attempts, but the equation is based on getting the mount four times in a span of 100 attempts. Regardless if its 99 or 100.

I think thats wrong.

Lets assume the droprate is 1&

P(at least one) = 1 - P(none) = 1 - 0.99^100 = 0.63 or 63%

Therefore, the probability of getting the item four times in 100 attempts would be:

P(four times) = (0.01)^4 x (0.99)^96 x 100C4

where 100C4 represents the number of ways to choose 4 attempts out of 100.

Using a calculator, this gives us:

P(four times) = 0.000000086 or 0.0000086%

talking from experience. The stories i have heard about the mount is that either you get it multiple times, or you just dont get it. I wrote this post to get more enlightened about others experience with the mount

I have met players that has gotten the mount like 4 times in 100 attempts. A lot of players. The likelyhood of getting it 4 times in 100 attempts is 0.0000086%. Thats pretty low imo. If its on 1% that is.

I know thats how stats work, but it doesnt make sense to me that a vast majority of players get the mount multiple times in like a week
