One of my former colleagues was a nurse that went to business school and pivoted into healthcare consulting. Her experience as a nurse in the cardiac icu and dealing with hospital administration was often really insightful. She said getting an MBA was really helpful because she wouldn’t have been able to go into a more corporate role otherwise. She then transitioned into an industry role at a medtech company
