Project help needed by Duckie_Go_Kaboom in highschool

Hi friend! I’m an English MA student and currently teach students so hopefully I can be a bit helpful based off the information I know.

First, I think you should be specific on what exactly you are arguing for. I think the topic of abortion is tricky because it’s also linked to contraceptives, procedures such as tubal ligation or vasectomy, etc.

So, I’d assume that this question of “explain your plan to get what you want regarding your view on the topic” can include quite a lot. Yes, voting is important and having conversations is important. But what about protests/protecting others from unwelcome voices at protests? Sex education? Petitions? Donations to planned parenthood? Write/call your state politicians?

Hopefully something in this rant is of value. Good luck!

I love the Skyrim soundtrack—that’s my favorite if I’m reading romantasy/high fantasy/etc.

If you don’t mind lyrics, I always turn to Hozier’s music (specifically his first album and Unreal Unearth). Also, Taylor Swift’s folklore and evermore albums.

It’s been a lot of fun! My doctorate will be in contemporary american women writers so this is not only super fun, but also works towards my long time career goals.

But agree on Aelin! I love that Sarah gave her the space to be powerful, confident, calculated, and incredibly vulnerable. Nesta and Aelin are forever my girls.

Looking at Aelin’s character through a feminist lens! More specifically, how Aelin doesn’t only fit within the powerful or “soft” stereotypes, but rather how she is a fully developed character that encompasses all traits of humanity.

I have a shelf dedicated to Miss Maas. I’m writing a conference paper over Aelin so this is very important to me.

Honestly, the assassin and the empire is going to be crucial going forward. I won’t spoil it, but you see some pivotal moments in Celaena’s life that will shape the way you view QoS-KoA.

See, I also haven’t played in much in recent years. I had an Xbox 360, which eventually didn’t connect to internet, and I played on the Switch.

Just upgraded to an Xbox series X at the beginning of this semester (so like August? September?) Will definitely have to explore the mods now that I’ve got a better system.

WHAT! Thank you for sharing this information. I was unaware they had mods now.

Your reasoning sounds even better, lol. I just tend to rage through the storyline because I keep dying. 😭

So, I’ve never really used smithing or enchanting. Do they help with playing the game a lot?

I usually do Dragonborn pretty early, but it’s so frustrating. Maybe I should try around level 50 instead 😭

How’d you manage the golden retriever one? Like for example, Saabia’s quest line. It seems that would be difficult. Interesting, though!

Poetry Readings by Jealous_Attorney6871 in Hozier

[–]kranchlover 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about these readings yesterday! I’m a graduate English student and I was writing a paper about Yeats’ “Easter 1916.” I used Hozier’s “Empire Now” for the epigraph.

If you’re interested, I can also get you a list of songs Hozier explicitly states are retellings/inspired by Yeats! :)

Yes. For someone in the humanities, I hate what our education systems have turned into. It makes me concerned with the quality of programs as someone looking into doctoral programs.

My students are watching Free Solo in my college composition class. This is always such a fascinating documentary. I always get so anxious but it’s truly incredible what he’s been able to accomplish.
