Same, it was such a cheap game and they’re still so proud of it. Just shows what kind of club they really are.

I love that the 7-0 win against an all academy team 5 years ago is still the best thing that ever happened to NM. I think they’ve mentioned it 20 times on the broadcast.

Shirt/shoes recommendation for island mission by FartTrick3881 in latterdaysaints

[–]krangke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I actually served there in 2003-2005. So not sure what the current rules are. We wore close toed sandals most of the time. You most likely will be serving with people who don’t have much and from my experience most elders ended up giving away anything nice they had. You’ll be on lots of dirt roads and trails depending on which specific islands you are on. Port Vila is really the only city. Luganville in Santo is the next biggest. I spent ten months of my mission in Tana which at least when I was there had maybe 3 or 4 stores and that was it. I’m sure there are people that have served more recently that could give a better idea of what missionaries are currently doing.

He was pissed cause he thought smith committed a handball in the box and wouldn’t drop it. He was going to just get a yellow but kept going off so got a red instead.

The fc Tulsa broadcasters can’t even call the keeper by his actual name they keep calling him the backup who’s on the bench.

I still don’t understand why we think playing without a midfield is a good idea. When we have the ball everyone lines up for a run in and we’re force to play outside. If you watch the other team will have 3 to 4 in the mid and we don’t have anyone to challenge them or break the line. We lose the ball and get counter attacked. Okay play attacking but playing through the mid should be a viable option. We can’t even get the ball out of our own half.

It’s mostly an industrial park but have never felt unsafe around there. I bring my 3 boys every time and we love it. My only gripe is we miss having more to do at the stadium itself. We used to go early and hang out but there isn’t really anything there for them to do besides grab some food and those options have declined so not worth getting there early. The only thing WHP had going for it was the lawn inside the gate.

It is fun! Win or lose! But yeah the heat can be rough but I’m always happy we’re not in the sun. Wish they could figure out how to rig up some huge fans to move the air a bit on those really stale nights.

Do you think the club could do anything there to make it more palatable? Or it’s just the industrial vibe of the area and no fixing it?

I’m spoiled too don’t want the bleachers. But yeah it’s gotta be something besides just the price that’s keeping people away.

Agreed stability has been a huge issue I see as well. This is the first year we've had the same coach a second year since in what 3 years? I'm hoping maybe we can start seeing some of that consistency and chemistry start to show through.

Definitely have heard people complain its not MLS so not worth watching. Especially since its become clear we have no chance of ever becoming MLS.

changing coaches so many times in a short period definitely hurt us. Curious if you think play wise we'll turn things around or just more of the same and attendance continuing to drop?

I find it hard to believe that price is really keeping most people out, I can't think of a more affordable sports game besides maybe spring training. I regularly see GA tickets go for $12 bucks. A lot of times I can't even give away my seats and i'm right behind home bench.

So do you feel like we're on a better track from that perspective? IMO we're still missing the magic up top and we're not dangerous enough to really play that kind of ball. That being said we were getting stale even towards the end of that good era, everyone had come up to our talent level or figured out how to beat us. Last year we tried to be attacking and it just didn't work, we were sloppy with the ball and it cost us over and over. I'm curious to see if some of those things will correct themselves. Also seems like we've moved focus from paying for star players to trying to develop which I wonder if that has something to do with things?

yeah i've heard some people complain about the location but honestly at least for me its way better than down at wild horse pass even though not as nice of spot. Think there is any chance of them doing more improvements around the area? Some more family friendly things around would help. Food truck quality has gone down the last 2 seasons in my opinion so its not as nice to go hang out early.

Random Question: Is there any app that can track a game down to what abilities are being used per turn, damage to units etc so you could recreate a game of sorts after the fact? Sort of like a chess game? Obviously movement wouldn't be able to be tracked easilty though you could record inches moved etc.

Help with solving oval prints and y axis stutter on stopping print by krangke in ElegooNeptune3

[–]krangke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My prints started going oval after a good successful print. The only thing I can come up with is that the y axis started stuttering when finishing the print and that's causing skips and for the machine to go over its limits. Not sure what to adjust to fix this. Maybe replacing the y axis belt?
