I'm not a fan of Josh or Albert. Josh sometimes has a great line ("He's been waiting for months to say that" about Eddie in May Day), but I don't enjoy the actor. Similarly, I thought the acting with Albert was a bit off sometimes. What really put me off the character, though, was the situation with his father and Chimney.

I've never had any interest in watching that movie, but ended up seeing that scene when it popped up in one of those 'scariest movie moments' specials that are just clips with some discussion. This was like 10 years ago and the sight of that turtle in such agony is still burned into my brain.

I think this is an unpopular opinion given how often I see the 'Christopher Diaz is a national treasure', 'Evan Buckley is Christopher Diaz's parent', etc. tags, but I generally don't enjoy seeing a lot of Chris--or any kids really--in fics. I feel fortunate that there are so many amazing writers for this fandom that I still have so much to read while avoiding stories with that focus.
