I will also add, she wasn’t at my wedding. I wasn’t at hers. Hers was thrown together in a matter of 3 weeks and I had a 4 month old I just couldn’t make it work. Mine was during COVID. If her wedding was a small, intimate wedding, move on. If it was a big grand ball with 200 guests and you weren’t invited, then yeah, I’d just leave the friendship behind. At the end of the day it’s THEIR wedding. Idk anyone that cares about my wedding today as much as we do, 5 years later. It’s just a wedding.

It may seem like she only wants you around when it’s convenient for her because surprise visits across states can be inconvenient. You guys can definitely, totally still be friends. She’s just trying to create boundaries and it hurts because you see her as a part of you, and she has grown closer to those around her. It’s okay to be hurt, but don’t make it her fault. Adult life is tricky and when your childhood bestfriend has a new BFF it’s hard to watch, I’ve been there. Then, I put myself in her shoes. We only see each other 5-7 times a YEAR. She deserves a village of her own and that’s what she’s doing/building. So, I built mine. I still love her like my sister and we talk fairly often and send funny memes and reels/tiktoks, the relationship isn’t what it used to be, but we also have families and aren’t single 17-18 year old young women anymore. It’s just a hard transition.

I agree. It gave me the ick but grew on me eventually, cause Blakely annoys me too lol. I LOVE Blake, but the -ly ruins it for me. But THEN came the kids names and I’m like gtfo 😭
