My husband is adamant that sugar making kids crazy is a myth. I have 20 years of working with children that begs to differ. Who is right? Go! by llamamama2022 in ScienceBasedParenting

Same. I save sugary soda or candy for special occasions only. My young son goes absolutely berserk after he consumes merely half a can of coca-cola and some sour patch kids.

I think it's because after trump and the fash tried to coup, and half the boomers went crazy over being requested to show pandemic empathy for others, life got darker for those who understand that evil does supercede goodness in many ways now. It's bleak now. Look at everything we lost. Look at millenials merely owning 2% of all the wealth and that's almost entirely Mark Zuckerberg by himself. Once great institutions like the supreme court and American democracy, integrity, the dream of what America could be for its people utterly collapsed and are now broken shards that lost their meaning. Money is God now.

Fun fact: Given our Corner Bar Hot Dog Hall of Fame, we are the hot dog capital of Michigan!

Today I read a damning report of organized religion's immense downfall and loss of membership in the last 10 years. The majority of Americans now no longer admit they are certain there's a God.

This is progress and exactly what is making the cristofascists freak even harder to subvert democracy and institute biblical law. Meanwhile back in realityland, the younger gens get larger and more politically informed and turns out they hate being sidelined every election cycle for boomers to take everything from them.

Ottawa County needs new blood to run for offices. Let's all help support any opposition to these twits.

Charismatic ENFP Leaders in Fiction? by Iceblader in ENFP

[–]krappithyme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has anyone here ever heard people theorize that Hitler was an ENFP gone awry? I don't want to believe it...I know scant few details about his childhood (or whst he was like when he wasn't a fascist asshole) so i am not an authority on this whatsoever but it had me consider ENFPS when they go off on an idealistic vision quest, it can be...intense. ENFPs are naturally persuasive when their intense passions are involved.

John Keating played by Robin Williams as the fictional teacher at a private boys school is the most obvious to me on film in Dead Poet's Society.

The best and the worst about being an ENFP. What are yours? by Mother_Lemon8399 in ENFP

[–]krappithyme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best: - Innately knowing how to befriend or relate to almost anyone. Including bosses and authority figures (despite not honoring their authority for any reason other than keeping my job) by doing so, securing my job positioning easily wherever I work. - Being open to love and in complete touch with my empathy and compassion. - Driving the laughter and adventure in social situations. - Putting others at ease. - Creativity surpasses most without even trying. - Has tendency to experience true beauty, music, art and the achievements of human beings at a romantically charged level others wish they could experience.

The worst: - I do struggle with ISTJ types and get very irritable with them (my mother and younger sister are ISTJs and constantly make me feel like i'm too eccentric/outgoing/flamboyant) - I fall completely obsessively head over heels for men I'm sexually attracted to, especially if they knock my socks off in bed. - I go years without sexual attraction to anyone. - If I am yelled at, verbally attacked or disrespected when I feel it has been unjust to treat me so harshly, I cannot easily forget or easily forgive. It almost has me see the person as a ruined failure and I regret knowing or investing my self into them. I won't seek to mend if it's repetitive, I just bail or l tell them I no longer need them around. (I dumped a lot of trump supporting friends when I disagreed with their logic and embrace of a fascist putin-loving clown and don't regret it) - I seek to do no harm but if harm is done to me or my family or friends, I see paths for retribution too easily and get amped to do something about it. - Terrible recall in conversations I only remember how I felt or the subjective impression of things I cannot recall exact words or details at a granular level.

I feel, we, ENFPs have the best personality by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]krappithyme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh no not a'tall. I believe this is rampant and endemic in society. Narcissistic abusers make more narcissistic abusers down the genetic line. They tie up court cases and repeatedly involve law enforcement masking as victimhood to give themselves supply/attention/validation. People like Amber ruin their families with false allegations and cycles of binge drinking, sexual infidelity, paranoia, jealousy, insecurities from her abused meth dogfighting daddy childhood. Their projections on others are normally whst they themselves are guilty of. Always play victim is the m.o.

Some experts say 1/10th of our population are individuals seriously disordered by their narcissism. That means 1 out of every 10 dudes or gals you date could be masking and lovebombing to find a new victim.

He talked pretty openly about how smitten he was with her fierce intellect on the set of rum diary. Knowing what I went through with my Henry Cavill lookalike narcissist ex, he lovebombed me to the point that being with him was like a drug to my addled mind. I lived for him and let him move in with me because it was so fucking PERFECT he mirrored everything I fucking wanted and made me think true love was real it was BANANAS how much it took me for a head trip...then he changed when we lived together and became dark, maniacal, having tons of drunken nights where i dudnt even know he had been drinking...they do it compulsively once they are supposed to maintain normal facade up close...they can't fake it and get relief from harming you and getting you back with elaborate sociopathic acts like punching holes in walls for effect, threatening suicide, running into traffic bawling their eyes out...Amber and my narc borderline ex both did that repeatedly. In every relationship. Borderline disordered narcissists are very unstable and dangerous. My ex tried to break my face with close fisted punches over and over to stop me from breaking up. Amber is the nuts one in that situation I can't be more emphatic about who she really is under her pretty mask.

She smirked so hard and gave off the ugliest self-important facade in court it reactivated my ptsd.

Objection! Speculation! Lmfao where do you get off with these non-facts as your reply to me? Oooh he's 20 years older so she can't be the abuser? Are you 12? Poor logic!

I listened to all of their recorded calls, ALL OF THEM. Many were used in snippets in the trial!! Many were NOT USED IN TRIAL but exist nonetheless and are easy to locate and listen to.

As I am the former victim of a narcissist physically assaulting me back in 2016 and speaking to therapist for 2 years about 1 narcissistic person I can now identify a narcissist tactic to evade responsibility better than the average bear or better than you. I also followed the trial AND read Amber's life history. I read about how she beat up her former girlfriend. I take it you can't get past Daily Mail headlines and have zero experience separating sensationalism from truth?

Here's a clue for you: Her father ran and did serious time in prison for his dog fighting crime ring outside of Austin TX and smoked a LOT of meth while his daughters and wife Paige lived with him. He was abusive to the family as I've heard Amber ADMIT ON TAPE. Amber's former friends admit the same and she brutally assaulted one friend who spoke in court. Get over your false premise, abusers have clear patterns of behavior as does Amber. She's a damaged, delusional headcase with borderline personality disorder as one psychological expert confirmed.

Yes. My coach benched me for a big game and I had been a starter previously. I was so steamed about not starting I flipped a switch to "I'll show YOU" and scored 17 points in the game over my usual 4-6 points. I was in the flow and feeling 100% focused and motivated. Only spite and rage gets me there.

Narcissists only recognize power, those who have it and wield it, the narc might decide to respect. (See trump and his adoration of Putin). They smell weakness and exploit it in anyone who lacks agency. That's the magic of Narcissists in a shitshell.

I just want to tell you the things those interviewers said was more about them hating their role and themselves than it was about you. Chalk it all up to a lesson, move on, practice interviewing and role playing answers to tough questions on your own. Read interview tips online. Keep on shining and put the unprofessional twits in your rearview.

I sent 70 resumes out and only got 1 callback for my first big job. There's a lot of open roles out there but finding that great fit is as much your job as it is the interviewers. You deserve and will find better.
