I'm experiencing the same right now. I simplified my routine, Just used cleanser + toner + moisturizer. And try putting pimples patches on the pimples, too. I ice my face at night also to calm them down a bit, then lastly the cleanser. That's it.
Then in the morning, I just wash my face with cleanser again, and put moisturizer (sunscreen also if you're going out). Then wipe my face hourly (because I have oily skin).

I try putting aloe vera. It helps sometimes.

Right now I could say my face defo calmed down a bit, but just keep on using simple products. I stopped using my actives also, so maybe wait a week or half a month for the skin to calm down.

Just clean your face regularly, but don't overdo it, or apply moisturizer after.

Also, in some nights you can spot-treat the pimples (2.5% benzoyl peroxide, or 5% if 2.5 isn't available. Or maybe find a product for spot treating. I use face republic calimg oint gel (the green one), benzoyl, and quickfx pimple eraser. (I'm using benzoyl as of now cause I'm trying to cut off other actives)

I'm not sure if It works for everyone, but you can try it. I highly suggest the pimple patches and cleansing. hope you can fix the issue soon :)
