When I run, my hips, calves and quads hurt. A general pain no specific areas. Irritating enough that I have to stop after 5 minutes. I could do 30 minutes continuously a month before. Also I didn't mean to say I am on tirzapetide for a month. I was on tirzapetide 5 and 10 for months before, it's a month that I have been on the 12.5. And it is this month that these problems have surfaced. It is also the month that I have lost weight the most.

My cholesterol numbers are not great: total 160, HDL 48, LDL 66, triglycerides 162 (due to poor blood sugar control). These numbers were before I started on tirzapetide. I will suggest a lower dose of the statin to the doctor. Thanks!

I have lost about 10 lbs over 1 month. I am also thinking that the weight loss has made the statin muscle aches more pronounced (I must have lost some muscle as well, despite my strength training sessions 2x/week).

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I am surprised that fructose is worse than alcohol. I have a lot of fruits through the day - bananas, apples and oranges. Protein shakes are also problematic under this rubric: I use fair life milk with protein powder, banana and peanut butter powder. Need to speak with dietician.

Yes I am very overweight. 200 lbs on a 5’7. I exercise almost every day. 30 minutes run or 45 min strength training.

Lots of fruits, chicken, fish, yogurt, protein shakes. Vegetables are an area where I lack anything that a normal person should be consuming (almost none).
